  • I love this car! - 2004 Honda CR-V

As has been my experience purchasing other new Hondas, this one was in perfect condition. No rattles, no broken controls, etc. We opted to not get AWD since we never have to drive in snow or ice, but we did opt for the side air bags. It is fun to drive, ample pick-up merging, and very roomy. Ive purchased the cover for the rear storage area, and the shopping bag holder (from an Internet supplier at discount prices) and theyre great to have. Ive driven about 1000 miles so far and have no complaints whatsoever. Makes me never want to buy anything else again but Hondas! By the way, Id read some discussion about the rear door opening from the driver

  • CRV is Combustable Recreational Vehicle - 2004 Honda CR-V

Tight in the Drivers seat. Now CRV is Combustable Recreational Vehicle. If we had know this Design MFG FLAW we would not have bought it now. And Honda HQ says you have to have the basic oil change done at there dealerships??? HUH am I missing something here... the vehicle was rated great ..how did everyone but our Government miss the PINTO like flaw..?

  • Great little SUV - 2004 Honda CR-V

We purchased our CRV last November, after looking at the Forester and the Rav4. Decided on the CRV because of the roomy interior and safety features. All wheel drive gives us added security on trips to the mountains. Driver also has great visibility through windshield.

After looking at all the other comparable models,Santa Fe,RAV4,Escape the Honda CRV is by far the best midsized SUV. It was exactly what we were looking for to zip around town in and get decent gas milage. We have owned it for a couple of months and enjoy driving it.The intieror has planty of space and also has the most back seat leg room than the others, which is appreciated by my two big teenage boys. The moonroof is a nice touch and love the fold down center tray.Road noise is not terrible but noticable.A little disappointed with the gas milage. We drive only around town on Long Island and get 17-19 mpg,.I was hoping to get around 22 mpg.

  • Extreme Road Noise - 2004 Honda CR-V

The SUV handles well and doesnt eat gas, but is extremely noisey. The road noise is over baring and even drowns out the radio. It rides lower than other small SUVs. You can feel every bump. Also it rides a lot lower than other small SUVs. I am very sorry I bought it.

  • Three problems - 2004 Honda CR-V
    By -

This is my third Honda. Ive been surprised at the decline in quality. 1) Increasing number of rattles (still under 6,000 miles). 2) Extremely uncomfortable front seats - cannot use for commuting or long trips. 3) The "fire issue" - my first oil change at the dealer resulted in a "double- gasket", an oil leak, and smoke (but no fire, thankfully)

  • Love It - 2004 Honda CR-V

Never would have considered this car until this year. It is so perfect for me - that right size, price, ride and looks. Only thing bad is that I constantly see the same car coming and going on the road.

  • Unquestionable Quality Abounds! - 2004 Honda CR-V

You could not pay me money to give up my cr-v. I owned a 2002 model, but it got totaled when a Suburban ran a red light...long story. So I got another, because I had no problems with my first. There is always plenty of passing power, granted you pass at speeds less than 100 of course. I averaged 23 mpg in a rigorous birmingham, Ala rush hour commute, and it as an absolute blast to drive. It is larger inside than a liberty or an escape, is faster, cheaper, and of better quality than a Sorento(Kia), and like I keep saying is built like a rock (Arent all Hondas?)hehe. Anyway two major thumbs up on this fine ride.

  • Honda CRV - Good choice for the money! - 2004 Honda CR-V
    By -

My wife and I were looking for a small SUV that had to satisfy four requirements: 1.) It had to come from a reputable manufacturer. 2.) It had to be fuel efficient. 3.) It had to be attractive. 4.) It had to be fun to drive. As soon as we took the CRV for a test drive we knew we found the vehicle we were searching for!
