Excellent value! - 2002 Honda CR-V
By effica - August 23 - 10:00 amOwned 2 Honda Civics (88 & 01) and never thought of getting an SUV (fad/gas guzzlers) but girlfriend wanted an AWD for winter skiing. The 2002 CR-V (EX) Auto is just the perfect choice. At $22.2K (dest charge inc), this CR-V is very solidly built, peppy enough, yet very efficient. It handles well & the ride is comfortable. Road noise is as expected and is more like that of a Honda Civic than an Accord.

Great Automobile Compared To My FORD - 2002 Honda CR-V
By Surf_City_CRV - August 23 - 10:00 amLove my CRV! I am very happy to be driving an automobile that I can depend on. After driving Fords all my life and the last 5 years of quality problems.. I got to the point that I couldnt trust Fords. The CRV is quick, fun, and a pleasure to drive. I have 2,000 miles in 2 weeks and not one issue or complaint. I plan to drive the CRV for another 198,000 miles with a smile!

Love my car! - 2002 Honda CR-V
By bobbye - August 11 - 2:00 amBefore I purchased the 2002 CRV-LX, I had a 1997 CRV-LX. I didnt think anything on the road could top that - until I got the 2002. It seems Honda really researched and listened to owners. Everything about this car is better.

Honda CRV-EX the pick of the litter - 2002 Honda CR-V
By Kenny - July 22 - 2:00 amThis vehicle drives and rides so much better than the competitors. The power is there...much more than the gas hog Liberty and the considerably better than the Escape(why get a mini-suv with full size suv mileage. I considered the features the price the different levels of build quality and the drastic difference in reliability and I do not understand why anyone would get past the preliminary invesigation of the other vehicles. Advice to Honda..Make More CRVs and let people test drive them. I had to put a deposit on mine while some of my friends bought what was available i.e. Fords or Jeeps and now they wish they had waited.

Everything but the seat - 2002 Honda CR-V
By KenC - July 22 - 2:00 amCompared all small SUBs,and felt CRV superior in all aspects including price. Every three months I am very pleased with it overall, but do have a major concern. I cannot get comfortable in drivers seat. I am only 58" but no matter how I tilt back I am uncomfortable within a few minutes. It may be the lumbar (I would like to be able to turn it off) or the the contour of the seat. I have tried a variety of seat cushions but none of them have signicantly helped. As much as I like how it handles and drives, I am concerned about my level of comfort on a long trip.

interior is lacking - 2002 Honda CR-V
By nitsirk - June 29 - 2:00 amI find the interior uncomfortable. The seats, front and rear, have little to no cushion. The rear seats are roomy, but not comfortable. This is truly the only thing I dislike about my CR-V. Also, the roof rack covers (4) where the rack connects, keep falling off but the AutoWest dealership in Roseville replaces them.

Vehicle pulls to the right - 2002 Honda CR-V
By irmermaid - May 29 - 10:00 amI noticed on the way home from picking it up that it pulled to the right. The dealer has had it twice-aligned it twice-once with the additional spec from corporat. I cannot drive it yet without it wandering to the next lane, on any road, at any speed. I am only getting 18 mpg. The dealer said it would take 10,000 miles to break in the engine, and would not address the low mpg. There is only 700 miles on the vehicle. I have now noticed quite a few other people having this problem, with no real solution from Honda Corporate. This is my third Honda, and I cannot honestly recommend the CRV-EX to anyone, even though I am sure there are many satisfied customers out there.
