  • Poor Gas Mileage but we still love it - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Just a quick review since weve only owned the car for about a month. Ill try and update it as time goes by. The combined average mileage is 22-23 MPG per the cars computer and twice when Ive filled up Ive double checked the calculation based on miles vs gallons and it seems spot on. We drive this car like a GRANDMA and still the MPG sucks (compared to what they claim it will get) Yes there is a vibration, a "bogging" down when you first accelerate from a stop if you dont give it a good amount of gas. Get over it or dont buy the car. My Wife doesnt even notice it and it doesnt bother me. The CRV rides smooth! Interior is very comfortable and the lack of road noise is nice!

  • Head rest at terrible angle. - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

This is a great car but terribly uncomfortable due to the forward tilt of the headrest. If you sit with good posture there is no way you can drive this car more than 60 miles. The headrest is angled forward and pushes constantly on the back of your head. I windup looking directly at my speedometer all of the time. All of the great technology is useless if you cant drive it. Most other car manufacturers allow about 2" between the back of your head and the headrest. My Subby is really old (2001) but really comfortable. "An update 9-2016) the headrest can be turned backwards but then there is too much space between the headrest and my head. The other solution is to recline the back of the seat so youre partially reclined but due to my fractured back that too is impossible. Best solution, trade it in and buy another Subaru.

  • Transmission wheezing - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

My transmission emits a high pitched wheezing while in motion. Two different Honda service managers from different dealers tell me this: These new transmissions are designed with "gears that float"???? This seems to cause internal pressure not found during design testing. The wheezing sound is the pressurized air escaping from a tiny hole in the trans gasket. Honda knows this and as everyone has heard they do NOT care. Perhaps the reason I do not experience any shaking is due to the pressure being released and not pent-up. In any case, please know I will be hiring an attorney skilled in class action suits and will urge you to join in!!!!! Stay tuned

  • 10k miles and still great - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

2015 CRV EX-L 4WD. No problem so far. Gas mileage depends on who is driving it. Wife: 21 mpg, When I drive it: 28 mpg. Air conditioning not so great, my 2001 Honda Accord is much more efficient. I dont feel the vibration too much or we probably got used to it, it jitters when going from 0 to 40 m/h. I called Honda company and complained, and they suggested to take it to dealer to apply some software patch, and then they asked me "when are you planning to go to the dealer ?". I said "Never", they asked "why", I said if I dont trust Honda itself (who knew about the vibration problem for 2 years now and they did not act), then how can I trust a dealer. I still love the car

  • 2015 CRV AWD Vibrates - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I had a great 2009 CRV AWD LX until I purchased this 2015 CRV AWD LX a few days ago. There is vibration in the steering wheel while driving. As I read reviews today, I see that other customers have reported this 2015 CRV vibrates. The service staff at the dealership told me that the 2nd gear is "slow" and once out of this gear, the car will no longer vibrate, and that Honda is aware of the problem, but is unable to fix this problem at this time. I wish I was told about this problem before I purchased it. The salesperson told me today that he was unaware of this issue. The dealership has been very helpful so far.

  • It is bad experience to have honda CR -V. - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I have a honda CR-V 2015 only 3000 miles drive. I felt my brand new car shaken a lot. When I visited dealership, one answer there is normal. How can it be? Brand new car vibration was like 20 years old car. I am very disappointed. I will never buy honda car at all.

  • DO NOT BUY CRV OR ANY HONDA - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

They screw a lot of people on a car and they wont buy it back because its not a "safety" issue.. Car was fix the only way to not feel it is to use headlights.. I buy a car and I get a lemon I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY HONDA.... no body even the lemon lawyers wont help.. God bless America.. Going back to American cars I will never buy Honda again. • Voice Controls dont work and are a waste of money - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Do not waste your money on the Voice Recognition system, it is worse than bad. It cant understand a word my wife or I say to it, even when doing exactly as the manual says and it couldnt recognize the commands of the Honda Technician or service advisor either. . Additionally the navigation system cant find a McDonalds, or gas station closer than 500 miles away. They should fire the entire staff who designed this system or license the Ford "Sync" system which works like a charm in my Lincoln. Its such a pain that we are considering selling it, as it gives us heartburn every time we get in the car. Manual entry before starting the trip is the only way we can get the navigation system to work. This year (2017) Paid for "Map Upgrade" which proved 2 things. 1) Upgrade had a 20 minute software upgrade, showing that Honda knows about the problem but is still not willing to admit it. Cant believe I had to pay to get new software they should have provided free. This shows that Honda is just thumbing its nose at its owners. 2) Even after software "voice recognition" was upgraded from TERRIBLE to only LOUSY. At least have the guts to admit your issues, because I cant trust Honda on any issue at this point. I am now using an independent garage to service it, despite the fact that I qualify for free oil changes after buying the maintenance upgrade from the dealer at purchase.

  • Vibration Issue with 2015 Honda CR-V EX [SOLVED] - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I have made five trips to the Honda dealer over a vibration issue I had when driving/coasting at 70 to 75 MPH. My Honda dealer finally did a Road Force Balance on the tires and this procedure showed one of my Continental tires had a flaw where the wheel could not be Road Force Balanced. They replaced the tire and did the Road Force Balance. It appears this has resolved my problem. If you are having similar vibration issues, insist they do a Road Force Balance on all wheels. Dealers dont like to do this because it takes more time. This is my first and last Honda purchase. I have bought Toyotas since 1993 and regret not staying with them.
