  • Great car for all uses. - 2015 Honda CR-V

Ive only owned the car for 7 mos. It was stolen off of street parking. I liked the car a lot. My main dislike is the body is made of plastic with underlying cardboard in places, but thats how all cars are made today. The gas mileage did not approach the EPA ratings. It was far less by 6-8 mpg.

Would have bought it, but the seats were terribly uncomfortable.

This 2015 Touring AWD is a joy to drive. Traded a 2014 EXL to add AWD and better electronics, and it feels great. Having read of the vibration and whines bothering others, I watched for them. Once there was a audible whine and at stops an almost imperceptible wheel vibration. With radio and AC fan on neither was noticeable. If a fix comes along, good and if not, I am still enjoying a great new CRV. It does everything I need and a little more.

I have a 2015 crv. Great car altho I do not like some of the safety features. For instance, if I am driving and my wife decides to put in a destination in the navi, it will not allow it. I would have to pull off somewhere s d stop to set it or make adjustments. Its stupid. I get that they dont want the driver to mess with stuff while driving but the side view camera is more distracting than my passenger adjusting the navi for me.

I traded my 2005 Pilot for the 2015 CR-V in November. I did not notice in the test drive but I have the same transmission vibration others have described. I now have 1800 miles on it and I am getting nowhere near the mileage advertised. I average 22-23 mpg combined city/highway. Now that I have gotten the disappointments out of the way I have to say I love the car. It is comfortable and stylish inside and out. The cargo room has been sufficient for me considering I came down in size from the Pilot.

  • Vibrates but much improved - 2015 Honda CR-V

Weve had this car for over a month and I can relate to what people say about the vibration at low speeds and when stopped with engine running. I noticed the vibration when I test drove the car and didnt think much of it then and I still dont. Its worse when the car is in ECO mode. Turn ECO off and drive in Sport mode (higher RPM) and the vibration becomes minimal to non-existent. This CRV drives better than the 2014 model (More responsive in Sport mode, less lean when taking corners) and has better standard features. Its good value too. Averaging about 30 mpg in low traffic city (80%) and highway (20%) driving. Overall we are pleased with it and hope its as reliable as my 2001 Accord

  • Terrible Vibration! - 2015 Honda CR-V

Buyer beware. There is a major flaw with the transmission on the new CRV. The dealer and Honda have said that they know it is there, but they have no idea how to fix it. At a stop with foot on brake the car vibrates terribly. It feels as if it will die on the spot. And it is bad enough to rattle your bones. Google Vibration in 2015 CRV to see how bad this is across the country! It does not instill confidence in the rest of the car. Although Honda and the dealer sympathize, they are offering no help in getting it fixed. When you buy a new car you expect it to be flawless. Im a long time Honda owner and am Super disappointed.

  • Best CRV since 2004 - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I had to sell my 2004 CRV AWD with less than 20k miles, since health issues made it difficult to use the clutch in the 5-speed. That car was one of the best Ive ever owned - virtually nothing went wrong with it, aside from a few recalled, all it needed was oil and gas, and you were good to go. I truly enjoy the 2015 CRV Touring replacement - the electronics, the audio sound, noise suppression, the ride - everything except the rumble at 1200 rpm, and the fact that they got rid of the flip up back window. Luckily the way I drive I dont dwell at this rpm, so the vibration is just a minor annoyance. Without the flip back window, I cant carry long stuff in the back - like long boards, garden tools, my lawn mower, and stuff the wife buys that comes in long boxes. Cant say it too much, I really enjoy this car.

  • Honda knowingly sells lemons - 2015 Honda CR-V

Do not buy the Honda CR-V Honda knows there is a serious problem with vibration, shaking and poor gas mileage. This car will make you sick driving it. It shakes like a 20 year old car and the gas mileage is at least a third less than advertised. You will get no satisfaction from Honda concerning the shaking as they claim this is characteristic of the vehicle. The sleazy dealer Metro Honda in Johnston RI sold us this vehicle with full knowledge of the defect in it. This is by far the worst vehicle I have ever purchased. Dont make a huge mistake by purchasing this car

  • Our First Honda - So Far So Good - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

We recently replaced my wifes VW Passat 4 Motion with a 2015 Honda CRV Touring and weve driven it 3000 miles so far. We have not experienced any of the vibration other reviewers have noted. In fact Id describe driving it as "smooth and effortless". My wife sums it up by repeating frequently how easy this vehicle drives. However, I have to believe the ride would be smoother with the smaller rims of lower trim levels. We felt sort of "trapped" into going with the touring because there were features like the power lift gate and some of the automated safety features were only available on the top trim level. The 18" rims really set it apart from older CRVs though. Its a trade off.
