Remembering Why I Love Honda - 2002 Honda CR-V
By MichaelC - July 5 - 10:00 amI once had a Civic that I loved. But then I "grew up" to a full-sized SUV that handled like a dump truck. Then I settled into a luxury sedan, but I missed the spacious SUV. The RAV-4 had an interior that felt very cheap (the salesman said the plastic was "expensive"). The Escape almost got me, but "built Ford tough" seems to mean "seats made of stone." Id dismissed the CR-V after one dealership asked for a deposit just to test drive. A few days later, I drove by another dealership the day a big shipment arrived. After the test drive, the CR-V hooked me. I love it. Still enough pick-up to merge, plenty of room for five and all of those little things that makes Hondas terrific.

I Expected Better From Honda - 2002 Honda CR-V
By Don424 - June 30 - 2:00 amIn two years Ive had 4 recalls on the vehicle. I had to replace the tires at 26000 miles, the breaks make a god- awful noise(the dealer says its normal)and there is a clunking noise on the front suspension that cant be identified. Very disappointed since this is my first(& probably last Honda. This vehicle would never have gotten off the line if it was made in Japan.

Another great Honda - 2002 Honda CR-V
By steven - May 22 - 2:00 amThis is another great Honda. It might not be the fastest suv of there but I know it will not be in the shop like the other cars that I have had. I put on a lot of miles a year both on highway and city and I never had a problems with Honda. I can not say the same about the VW GTI. It was in shop every 2 monthes with a bill average of $600. Glad to be back in a Honda

Great - 2002 Honda CR-V
By Shaun Caldwell - March 30 - 10:00 amOverall the CRV is a good car. It gets around 22mpg on the highway with the ac on and around 29 with the ac off. The vehicle has good pick-up on take offs and shifts smoothly into gear.

Good Mini SUV needs some changes - 2002 Honda CR-V
By JimmyC - February 21 - 10:00 amGood gas mileage. Good room interior. Great to drive around town. But need more HP for the steep hills. The stereo should be moved donw a bit. Some road noise on Highway. Firm seating could be more comfortable. Nice vehicle, but not impressive.

No competition - 2002 Honda CR-V
By James Bryant - January 10 - 10:00 amI love my new CRV it is typical Honda quality. It was hard finding one at MSRP, every dealer in my local area wanted $1500.00 over MSRP. Hint, check dealerships outside the city limits. They are more flexible.
