  • Great Grocery Getter! - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

We bought the CR-V EX-L to replace an older Acura. We chose a 2015 model in January 2016 which I think helped us get a 15% discount from MSRP. We chose the two wheel drive model to reduce purchase and maintenance costs. The car is overall excellent. Great features, fit and finish for the price. The noise and vibration is a bit more than our Acura - as to be expected for the brand position and pricing. The radio and phone controls are not intuitive but easily learned. MPG has been less than expected despite operating it in "green leaf" mode. All in all, we highly recommend the car!

  • Unfixable Vibrations - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Ive had my 2015 CRV ex-L for 8 months, 7000 miles. Im ready to drive it into a bottomless pit. The vibration issue mentioned here is Unfixable. Ive had all 3 of the potential "fixes" performed and there is no discernible improvement. At this point the only acceptable fix would be getting rid of it. Steer clear of this model.

  • Vibration - 2015 Honda CR-V

I bought the Honda CR-V 2015 in Nov, 2015. I felt vibration at stop on D. I did call the dealer in few days said will go away after 1000 miles. I took it to service center about 1500 miles, service center said we did not feel anything. Very disappointed. I took the suv for the second time when the miles at 3200 because the vibration getting worse. I did not put on park at service center, just left on D. I called the service consultant including the manager to feel the vibration. Everyone agreed, but when I went to pick up the suv they did not fix the issue said "this is the characteristic of the new CR-V". They even gave me in writing. UNBELIVABLE AND VERY DISAPPOINTED.

  • Brand New 2015 CRV EX with horrible vibrations when idle. Do not buy! - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

My wife and I were so excited for our new CRV. We have two small children and this was going to give us extra room for our kids and their stuff and was replacing our 2002 Honda Civic which we had for 14 years with no problems. We loved all of the features and look of the CRV. We had come to love Honda from our Civic experience. However after purchasing the car and driving home 30 minutes (our test drive was about 10) we realized that the CRV had a serious problem. At idle at a traffic light the entire car began to strongly vibrate. We btiught the car back to the dealer and tested several others and they all did this. We have come to find out that the car idles at too low an rpm. Do not buy!

  • MPG is a lie - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I purchased a 2015 Honda CR-V AWD with the sticker claiming 27/33 with an average of 30 mpg. I am barely making it to 27 mpg on the highway. The car is currently in the shop (only a week and a half after I bought it) for vibrating and shuddering. I was told by service that Honda is aware of the problem and is working on a solution. He said, "They believe it is a software problem". I am a previous Toyota owner, and I have to say, I am regretting making a switch to Honda. I am currently thinking about making a trade to Toyota. I am a commuter and the MPG is a big NEGATIVE for me.

  • Disappointed - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Ive had my 2015 CRV for a few weeks now, and Im disappointed. The positives are outweighed by the negatives. As others have stated, the engine is slow to heat up, and the heater is weak and has trouble keeping up in very cold weather. The CVT surges on the highway and suffers from a dead zone between 15-30 MPH. Hondas EPA fuel economy numbers are wildly inflated; expect 22-24 MPG in real world mixed driving. Ride quality on uneven surfaces is poor. The subwoofer is a joke and serves only to check a marketing box. The engine occasionally idles too low, inducing violent vibrations. Recently announced recall may require replacement of engine.

  • Clear Why This Car Sells Like Hotcakes - 2015 Honda CR-V

To address the elephant in the room, my CR-V does vibrate my seat at 600 RPM when stopped in drive. However, shifting to N or turning headlights on raises RPM. Adjusting the idle speed would fix this, so I imagine Honda will have to address. Otherwise, loving this car for my extended commute. While the acceleration pattern takes adjustment, it handles well and I am getting 30 MPG (with AWD) from hwy & suburban driving. There are a few minor interior quirks but car is comfy and spacious. The CR-V is in high demand; you cant get a Touring for months and there is little negotiating room. Ended up going with an EX-L, which saved me $5,000. My EX-L took 4 weeks to arrive in my color.

  • gas milage - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

the gas mileage was advertised 26 to 33 miles per gallon. I am not even getting 22 miles per gallon. I have yet to get even 26 miles per gallon. My wife also bought a 2015 crv. same thing mileage about 22 mpg. Blatant false advertising

  • My seventh and final Honda. - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

    1. Navigation. Resets at toll booths. Continually recalculates. Requires three different shots on two screens to show a turn. Cannot adjust frequency, so you will be told 4 times in the last mile before approaching a toll booth. 2. Vibration. I have now had the car in 5 times. I have had all of the parts replaced, the software fixes. It still vibrates. It gives me a headache. I have driven seven Hondas. I will never drive another. It is, to be perfectly honest, an awful car.

  • Functional & efficient yet well appointed - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Great bang for your buck with quality appointments, function & economy. Purchasing a certified used vehicle provided the added security of recasting a significant portion of both the 100k drive train and standard 36K warranty.
