  • lacking seat comfort for tall drivers - 2002 Honda CR-V
    By -

I bought the 2002 CRV EX for its generous and plain interior space. Performance & fuel economy: Good enough. Build Quality: Good enough. Reliability: Dont know yet. Comfort: Im a 6 footer and I do seem to have a problem with the driver seat position/contour. After only a few minutes I feel the unpleasant sensation of my legs circulation being cut off. Is it the seats angle/front edge, or lack of lumbar support? I wonder if there are other tall drivers with a similar experience.

I have never owned a more reliable and maintenance free car. I purchased this car new in 2002 and other than oil changes have never had any mechanical issues except for a heater sensor which I replaced last week. Of course there were a couple of "recalls" that I had done.

  • Love my first SUV - 2002 Honda CR-V

Very happy with my first SUV. Plenty of passenger room and lots of extra room when folding the seats down. Overall comfortable car too. Gas milage is excellent. Plenty of head room. Sunroof is awesome. Love that theres no center console; finally a place for my purse. Dislike hatch doors, so the barn door is great. The 6 disc changes is sweet; wish I had more watts though.

  • My First Honda may not be my last! - 2002 Honda CR-V

My wife and I looked at various "small SUVs" and picked the 2002 Honda CRV because of its reliability, looks, added features, and economy. It is a real blast to drive. Very impressive 4 banger engine that get the CRV out of its own way. Gas economy is excellant. I have read where people get around 15-16 mpg and I have only one thing to say to them. Either take you foot from the floorboarding the gas pedal or get your CRV fixed. We get around 21 around town and 26 on the highway with 87 octane gas. We love this vehicle!

  • Traded 325iC - 2002 Honda CR-V

Finally got married, bought an acreage, the Bimmer ragtop felt out of place in the country. BMW was the first time I strayed from Honda/Acura and although the Germans have it in the image dept., for most of us, its not a practical only car. Cost of insurance, repairs, reliability offended my sense of value. I feel intelligent having bought the CR- V - unbeatable value/quality for the $$

  • really fun to drive car - 2002 Honda CR-V

i recenlty purchased the lx model, this car has a lot of standard features for the money which i love. i have been searching for a car since 9- 01. I know this car will provide me with the quality and reliablity i want, i traded in a dodge mini van which i did not feel comfortable with in the quality dept. I was seriously thinking of purchasing the chevy trailblazer i know i ended up with the better built car with a better resale value

  • BEST CAR DECISION IVE EVER MADE - 2002 Honda CR-V

The CRV is fun, plenty roomy and practical for shlepping kids and their stuff to games and lessons, doing shopping and taking long trips. Its roomier and peppier than my old, larger Pathfinder. The seats are very comfortable and visibility excellent. Im getting 24- 25 mpg! The picnic table is useful for soccer games. No wind noise from moon roof or open windows. Im in love and now my husband wants a CRV.

  • Great in a Crash - 2002 Honda CR-V

If you want to hear about a safe vehicle...I was hit head-on by a 16,000 lbs truck at 40 mph and walked away with bruises and scrapes. The CR-V was totaled, but my passenger and I were fine.

This is my fourth honda. I will only buy a honda. I had the 1997 honda crv for five years and I do nno think I ever did anything other than changing the oil and brakes. This 2002 crv I have had for two yeas. The only probelm was a rattle in the belt that was fixed and I new brakes. i swear all hondas have brakes that go after 20,000 miles. Other than that I have not had one probem and i do not expect any for the next five years./ I will only buy hondas.

  • Great car for great price - 2002 Honda CR-V
    By -

Altough every one in America has a CR-V it still is a very good car. It is harder to rub it into peoples faces because theyll just say "well i have one to it is no big deal." The exterier of the car is some what ugyl. The 4 cylinders narrows the cars off road abilities. The engeine is a little bit nosiey. There is so much room in the car it is amazing. The ride is a little bit bumpier than other cars. There are alot of cool and useful features in the car. All in all the Honda CR-V is a great car to have for its cheep price and great prices.
