First off this is my 4th Honda. I own 3 Accords so I like the Honda brand. The CRV is a disappointment as far as the Honda workmanship goes. My gear shifter doesnt go into gear easily. Its a struggle to get it to go into gear. I brought it into the dealer and they just lubricated the cable. It still gives me a hard time to shift into to gear. The mileage does not get anywhere near the what the sticker states. Out of all my Hondas this one goes to the gas station way too many times.

This car is fun to drive, stylish ( similar to Mercede ML Class ). Roomy Interior provide more legroom. But the fuel consumption in acity is quite inefficient. But the overall performance is good, it is an eye catching mini SUV I think. You shouldnt lt new models out within 5 years.

I hate to sell this car after 13 years of great service. The only reason I am buying a new car is b/c the 2003 has 180,000 miles and I didnt want to push the luck I had for so long. When I went to buy another Honda CRV (stick with a winner), there was another car on the lot just like mine (except it had automatic transmission and mine was manual). It had 400,000 miles on it.

The CR-V is a versital ergonomically designed vehicle. If you are worried about saftey, it is the first SUV to get a quadruple 5 star crash test rating by the U.S. government. Price, anywere from 19k- 25k. Gas milege is anywere from 20- 23 mpg.

  • Great vehicle!! - 2003 Honda CR-V

I purchased my 03 CR-V back in June of 03 and already have 46,100 miles on it. I really love it and have had no major problems. It is very roomy, interior was carefully thought out. It has so much room, I used it to haul a corner shower kit that wouldnt fit in my S-10! Love the oversized climate controls, perfect when wearing winter gloves. We can drive it from Ohio to Wisconsin (about 430 miles) on one tank of gas! We go about 6 times a year and really enjoy the ride. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, fun-to-drive SUV.

If in the market for an SUV, regardless of price, consider this model. The 5 Speed is definetely worth the wait if you must order it. Loads of fun and very smooth and maybe the 3rd or 4th fastest SUV, regardless of price. Actual MPG is a bit off, never having gotten close to advertized figures but once .. still the best in class, though. Wind noise more prevelant than anticipated, particularly at highway speeds. Get the driving lights . Tires could be Michelins and a size wider. They are supposed to be at 26psi, not what the dealer delivers it at 32psi, which bodes for a harsher ride. Still, the best vehicle of its kind.

  • LOVE THE HONDA!!!!! - 2003 Honda CR-V

We have just bought our EX CR-V about 1 month ago. It is great! It is everything we thought it would be. Very spacious in front and rear. Nice sleek design. Great for long trips. This is a great car we were comparing it to the Hyundai Sante Fe but we felt that this was a better choice and we were right!

I love this vehicle! quite smooth to drive, enough power, decent brakes, stable at highway speeds. Interior is well designed and seats are comfortable. Easy to get in/out of. Visibility could be better. Very popular, so you see yourself coming and going. Not perfect, but for the money, its a 10.
