Lots of small problems, engine light (fixed on third dealer visit), noise in headliner (fixed after two visits), noise in drivers door (working on a fix), drivers seat rocking back and forth (fixed after four visits), headrests coming up by themselves (no fix) and last but not least, rattling noise in the sunroof (taken to dealer seven times, noise still there, told by Honda "its normal for SUV to make noise like that") All in all, the car spent 1 month at dealers out of nine month that I had it. The dealer in this case tried everything possible to resolve the issues, but Honda did not even called me back after several complaints.

  • Honda crv- never will but again - 2002 Honda CR-V

From the first day I bought this car I have had one problem after the other. I bought this car brand new and it had been a major disappointment. But the biggest shock was that Honda could care less. Their customer service is horrible. I made numerous calls and even wrote letters to the Honda Corporation- they could care less. I am in the process of getting rid of it and I will never buy a Honda again!!!!

  • Just Love it! - 2002 Honda CR-V

Its a year later after purchasing the CRV from Honda and I simply love the ride. There is some noise on the back right side when you go fast, but for the price and value of the other features I have I really cant complain. So many people tell me how nice the car looks, Im happy with the looks of the Honda CRV also. With the AC on the car does take a little more to get going.

  • Super all-around car - 2002 Honda CR-V

All in all, this is really a super car. Its a great multi-putpose vehicle. Our biggest dissapointment is that gas mileage hasnt been quite what Honda advertised (we average 22 mpg in mixed driving on the LX model). Aside from that, is fun to drive, practical for all types of errands...hauling the family around, groceries, getting plants, etc. I love all the interior space, with such a compact-looking exterior. Even with the less-than-hoped-for fuel economy, we would buy another, based on our experience so far.

I would have never bought the old CRV. The NEW CRV, however, is competitive to anything out on the market---and Ive test drove the Forrester, Escape, Tribute, and RAV4. Its got pretty good zip, though youre not going to win any races. Interior has ample room---Im 6, and have plenty of leg and head room. I didnt like paying MSRP, but still I got the EX (top of the line) with trailer hitch and roof rack extras for less than what I would have paid for a car with like features from Ford, Mazda, Subaru, and Toyota---plus I love that I have Honda quality. I plan to keep this one for a long time.

  • Its Everything It Was Intended tTo Be - 2002 Honda CR-V

My wife and I tested the 2001 Honda CR-V and we both agreed neither of us wanted it. When we took a ride in the 2002, it was like driving in another car. The ride, handling is superior has p. The ride and handling excells other SUVs we tested. Overall, the CR-V gives you what Honda intended, a fun, comfortable all-wheel SUV with great interior space. Both my wife and I love the car.

Great car! Drove it all over the place, no problems at all. Would definitely buy another.

  • Good car -- I miss it - 2002 Honda CR-V

This was a great little car-- We used it for in-town and short (one-day) trips. Loved the comfort for all passengers, but my 68" hubby did have to scrunch his legs just a bit (he still liked driving it). Great for groceries, luggage and grandchildren. I know some speak about road noise, but we had no problem with it. Now that I need a new car, I immediately went to the CRVs. Checked ALL the other makes and models out, narrowed it to CRV or Element (more leg room for the big guy) although both of us loved the CRV, he did spend a lot of time with not much space for those long legs.

  • New CR-V is a GEM! - 2002 Honda CR-V

The redesigned CR-V is an incredible deal. I started out looking at small wagons, but when I discovered I could buy a CR-V for just a few dollars more than the cost of a new Ford Focus wagon, I converted from being a long-time wagon driver to a new compact suv driver. What a wonderful vehicle!

  • FINALLY, Honda got the CRV RIGHT! - 2002 Honda CR-V

I have always wanted a CRV, but never liked how they looked. They were very boxy and the interior looked very cheap/basic. Now, in the 2002 CRV they mastered perfection. I wouldnt trade my CRV for a Lexus or BMW SUV. I think the CRV is strong competition for the more expensive luxury SUVs. I will drive this car as long as it will allow me. With Hondas reputation, that will be much more than 10 years from now. HONDA BEST INVESTMENT I EVER MADE!
