  • Love it! - 2008 Honda CR-V

Maybe its just the new car allure, but so far I love my new CR-V. Ive owned Honda cars since 1983 and have enjoyed every one. I would still be driving my 2006 Honda Civic if it werent totaled in a fwy accident. I walked away because the car saved me. Honda engineering rocks! Thought my replacement car should be a little bigger and the CR-V fits the bill. New Accord looks nice but was just too big, too wide for what I need. Ive already bought about $600 in accessories to make my CR-V MINE!

Previously, I owned a Honda civic and held on to it for 8 years. I put a lot of mileage on a car and my civic was the first car I had ever owned that had lasted so long (8 years) with no major malfunctions, so I was already a Honda fan. Ive had my CR-V a week now, but I do really enjoy it. Its fun and easy to drive, and comfortable, with great gas mileage for its class. Ive had no problems at all with it so far, and love many of the features of the EX-L style. I would highly recommend this vehicle to others - its a fun, convenient car, with plenty of space, good driving, and Hondas impressive reliability.

  • Lumbar Support - 2008 Honda CR-V

I love my CR-V, drives like a dream; fun to handle. only problem is that I sit up straight when driving, not enough lumbar support for upper back. Would be needed for long drives/traveling. I purchased a lumbar support item to accommodate the lack of. Not getting rid of my car. I love it!

  • My first SUV - 2008 Honda CR-V

This is my first SUV and I must say I am really impressed. The CR-V is really roomy, has a comfortable ride and is easy to maneuver! Great gas mileage compared to other SRVs in its class. So far it costs me $50 to fill up for the entire week. I look forward to driving my SUV for a long time.

  • Love the car, not great gas mileage - 2008 Honda CR-V

We purchased this great car to mimic the utility of our huge Mercedes R350 without the high purchase price and to have a more maneuverable car for our around town. The CR-V is really, really fun to drive and has a very high quality feel to it. It is comfortable and quiet at all speeds. Its every bit as solid as the Mercedes vehicles we have been driving for last 15 years. The only negative is the gas mileage. Our overall mileage, which includes 550 miles of straight highway travel, is only 20.5 mpg. Our Mercedes RE350 (a much larger, much heavier and more powerful vehicle)has averaged exactly 20 mpg over the past 10,000 miles. Its hard to understand.

  • Ummm...WOW!! - 2008 Honda CR-V

I have only had the car since mid April and already have over 3,000 miles on it. I took a Memorial Day trip from the New York Metro Area to Ocean City, MD. I was astonished that my car averaged over 30 mpg and I only used a little more than half a tank on the 260 mile drive down to Maryland. The entire trip used a tank and a half. Im not your typical CR-V owner, if there is one. I am a 24 yr old male. I owned a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee before this car and couldnt keep up with the 14 mpg. Although I am early in my ownership I couldnt be happier with my choice.

  • What a great SUV! - 2008 Honda CR-V

Ive had my CR-V for 3 weeks and love it! This is my first Honda after having Mercury Mountaineers for the last 12 years. The CR-V has lots of room, is fun to drive, and the gas mileage is so much better then what I was getting. Its been on 2 long trips and averaged 30 mpg; around town is averaging 24-25. The 4 cylinder is surprisingly peppy! It had no problems merging onto the interstates and passing trucks. In fact, hubby was going 80 at various times and it seemed like we werent going that fast! This is a great car and would recommend it!

  • Nice Compromise, Great Ride - 2008 Honda CR-V

I came from a (bought used CPO in 2004) 2002 V6 Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Explorer. Loved that car, but it broke down 3 times in 3 months and with gas @ $3.99, so I decided to try something smaller. I got the fully loaded CR-V, including Nav 5/26/2008. Car rides great, but idles kinda rough. Honda MPG: 22/26. I have no problems getting 28-29 with cruise control on the hwy. Front and side visibility is excellent, but rear quarters are poor, especially with rear passengers. HVAC heat and cool perfectly, and rear passengers can feel it. Nav works great, but the voice controls have like a 25% hit rate, despite having all windows closed, HVAC off and saying the exact command name.

  • Well done Honda - 2008 Honda CR-V

This is our first CR-V and we are very happy. The first fill up was an actual 27.3mpg, very impressive. I just filled up yesterday and got a actual 29.5mpg, this is not the computer mpg, this is actual per gallon to fill up. This is a solid suv and the only real items that I dont like are the wind and road noise, I believe it is a little excessive. Buy this suv before the Equinox or any other small suv. Subaru is the only other choice in this field and I did enough research to prove that.

My CR-V is almost a month old. Just loving it so far. Very smooth to drive.
