  • Vibration issues that passengers notice - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I, like many others, have major issues with vibrations (mostly at idle). I was told by my dealership that I "was the only one" that complained of this. However, I went online and see it is indeed a problem with the 2015s in general, not my vehicle. I hope Honda does a recall soon to fix this or I will never buy a Honda again (and neither will my family and friends who experienced the vibrations in my car). In addition, I drive the highway and accelerate slowly with the eco button on, and cant get above 25.7 mpg on the highway.

  • Lot of Vibration in Idle is a serious issue! Dont purchase 2015 CRV - 2015 Honda CR-V

I bought 2015 CRV LX AWD in mid of Jan, 2015. I started feeling the vibration from the beginning. I reported the same to Honda Technical Support and the dealer. But couldnt get any attention from them. Finally I took the vehicle to Honda Service and they confirmed it is a known technical issue in 2015 CRV for which Honda has no fix yet. I complained Honda again but didnt get any solution. They dont bother once the car is sold. I will never by any Honda car in future. Dont by Honda CRV 2015 CVT model. This is a defective car and no support from Honda.

  • Great car but needs work - 2015 Honda CR-V

The overall interior of the car is good. The back seats give more room than the older models. The middle counsel arm rest is comfortable and there is a lot of room. But there are some issues. There is a hard vibration to the car when you are at a complete stop, so hard that the front seats shake hard and it is very noticeable. Also the a/c does not work well on hot days. Hardly anything comes out of the main vents when you have the feet and top on at the same time. I think I would trade it in if I could but Im in a lease.

  • Also having the vibration problem - 2015 Honda CR-V

At idle, with my foot on the brake, there is noticeable vibration from the steering wheel and the drivers seat. In motion, when engine rpms are a constant 1500 or lower, the engine has a lugging feel and droning sound. No lugging or droning while braking or accelerating (except when accelerating very hard). My wife, kind to all moving creatures, says dont worry about it--just be grateful for the free back massage. An old-school guy like me, however, hungers for a smooth transmission and engine combo.

  • 2015 CRV EX AWD - 2015 Honda CR-V

I bought my CRV at the end of Dec. 2014. 2 weeks later I went on my first long ride of about 8 hours roundtrip. A few times while stopped at lights the car began shaking, as soon as I began moving the shaking stopped. Vibration is allways there when stopped but this shaking while not always present definitly makes me not recommend anyone buying this car unless Honda gets a fix for it. I wonder what the resale value of this model will be.

  • Now thats an SUV - 2015 Honda CR-V

This is our first SUV. My wife test drove the Acura RDX but could not justify the $37k price tag. Then went to Honda dealer and the gave us a great trade in for her 2007 Civic. The car was loaded for $30k. The LED lights on the CRV look awesome. The front end is restyled nicely and not as bland. The back is almost the same except the chrome bar across. It rides like a pillow and corners great too. Gas mileage is amazing with the new fuel injected engine. New multifunction touchscreen radio is great. Also the additional display on top makes the car look high class. Leather seats are perforated and look of high quality. This is a very solid car, and I have owned VWs.

  • "CRV" means car really vibrates - 2015 Honda CR-V

This is not our first Honda CRV but it may be the last. We purchased a new 2015 Honda CRV and the dealer did not have the integrity to say that there was an issue regarding the vibration or shuddering at lower rpms. Honda has a video concerning the problem which had I known about would have at least alerted me to the problem. The dealers know but most if not all consumers do not know about the video. Can not believe a manufacturer for which many have high regard would dump such vehicles on the buying public. Honda let us down after getting our cash. My word to the wise: DO NOT BUY A NEW HONDA CRV. You have been warned.

  • Last Honda we will buy! - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

We have had 2 Pilots, Accord, Element, and 3 CRVs. More problems with this one than all the rest put together. This stupid transmission "CVT" sucks! The vibrations! We have had the computer reprogramed three times and although better I would never pull the trigger and buy it. Several times since the week it was new it has, when backing out of the garage, shook hard, engine revs and then settles down. The other day it did that and died. Although all over the web dealer says it was fine and did not duplicate when in for service. Honda needs to quit running so many adds on TV and get back to building good cars. Seems to be run by marking and bean counters these days.

  • I Love My Car - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Hello all. I only bothered to register on this site to share the wonderful experience were having with our less than a week old white 2015 Honda CRV EX-L. This is our second CRV and third Honda. I read all of the reviews warning of vibration, so I was on heightened alert during our test drive. Our vehicle was warmed up and we took it for a good test drive. No problems. Not at stoplights, the highway, nor around town. Can I feel the engine running? Yes. Is it at all different from my previous Honda? No. Im not discounting any of you that have problems. All I am saying is test drive the one youre going to purchase. Go for a long drive and see for yourself. Ours is great!

  • 2nd CRV I have owned! Love it! - 2015 Honda CR-V

Love everything about this car from the sleek styling to the overall comfort and reliability of a Honda. Wouldnt buy anything else but a Honda. We have a black on black interior. The cabin is spacious, lots of leg room, great gas mileage, beautiful interior screens, back up camera, side view camera.... Its loaded for the EX.
