  • almost perfect - 2004 Honda CR-V

For the price this is an amazing value-- the comfort level is wonderful and it is much more spacious than other small SUVs. Really can fit five adults comfortably while also achieving great fuel economy. Also holds a LOT of camping gear, and the kids love the picnic table that comes with it. The only drawback is somewhat boring exterior design, but on the other hand I dont really want to draw too much attention to myself.

  • Great for my family - 2004 Honda CR-V

1000 miles and loving it. Im a big guy (64) and find plenty of room in the cabin as well as the back seat. Really like the sliding/ reclining rear seats, a big plus over the Subaru Forrester. (I didnt even fit in the back of the Forrester.) Handles great, a very quiet ride, probably would be quieter with better quality tires.

We saw this vehicle side by side at an annual auto viewing...nothing compares with the CRV dollar for dollar

  • Love to drive - 2004 Honda CR-V

Hondas second gen. body stlye is great. The car is perfect size for my wife to drive. My kids fit in it ( 10 & 2 ). The rear windows roll all the way down. The only complaint I have with the car is the rear gate opens towards the curb. If Honda can change steering for right-hand drive to left-hand drive they should be able to change rear gate opening.

  • Nice Car...I mean SUV - 2004 Honda CR-V

My budget for this purchase was $18,000 -25,000 so I chose from Toyota RAV4 and the CR-V. American cars werent considered (bad experiences with Ford and Chrysler in the past). I liked the options included for one price for the CR-V so I went for that and I dont regret it at all. (side airbags, aluminum wheels, cd changer, ABS, moonroof). The car looks nice on the outside. Not macho, not too cutsie, just right. The inside is pretty plain, but has lots of space, relatively comfortable seats, and a great easy to read controls. Drive performance is nice as it accelerates quickly and handles on curves and sharp turns great. It is also easy to park.

Honda packs a lot in this package at a nice price. Good handling, nice pick up and size. Perhaps my one complaint is that the ride could be slightly quieter and less stiff.

  • A Great Mini SUV - 2004 Honda CR-V

Love it! First SUV. Also looked at Forester and Rav. Has more space than either. Took one-day road trip of 170 miles in hard rain and driving wind (from the side)on interstate (speeds 65- 70mph). Tracked extremely well and much less wind buffeting than our sedan. Not as quiet as a sedan - wind and tire noise is noticable, but probably not as loud as a mid- or full-size SUV. Seats are firm (a bit on the hard side, even), but during our 170 mile trip we were not uncomfortable. Impressed with the rear seats - lots of rear seat legroom, rear seats slide forward and back, seat backs can be adjusted, rear seats fold up and forward to add more cargo space.

  • Great, Cheap, Safe Car - 2004 Honda CR-V

This is an all around great car. My wife crashed hers last week, and we loved the vehicle so much, we bought another one identical. My only complaint is that in a 5-speed, there is no armrests.... other than that, I wouldnt change a thing!

  • Excellent Vehicle for the price - 2004 Honda CR-V
    By -

This is my third honda purchase. I first bought a honda civic, then a honda accord, and now a honda cr-v. I wanted a suv without the extreme price and that is what I have with the CRV. The only suggestion I have is the center head rest needs to be removed because it blocks the rear view. However, the gas mileage is good, the vehicle is very comfortable and fun to drive, and overall I feel it is a good vehicle.
