This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Honda CR-V is completely redesigned. It hasn't grown in size, power or seating capacity, but thanks to Honda's attention to detail, this small SUV is way up in practicality and refinement.

Pros:
  • Thoughtfully designed cabin with numerous family-friendly touches, high-quality interior materials, comfortable and quiet ride, agile handling.
Cons:
  • Could use more power for passing at highway speeds.

  • Great Car - 2007 Honda CR-V

Just bought on a couple days ago, really love this car, only complaint is steering wheel hides some of controls, otherwise drives real nice. Wife has an 06 CR-V side by side differences aside from body styling is smaller windows on sides, no spare on back, larger and more angled windshield. Would be nice if you could get XM on the EX instead of just EX-L. Car handles great, almost drives like a sports car.

I love my CR-V. I did a great deal of research before buying this car and it paid off!! The CR-V drives very good and gets excellent gas mileage. Its roomy on the inside and is very comfortable. I actually find myself making excuses to go out just so I can drive. The XM radio is wonderful and the sound system is great. This SUV has pick up and go with a smooth ride to boot. I really love my CR-V.

Just had the vehicle over a week, and now I enjoy driving to work, its a wonderful commute car, comfortable, quiet, smooth ride, excellent brakes, enough power to go effortlessly in and out of traffic, the vehicle is responsive and feels tight (well built), it takes road bumps and potholes such that the driver is always in control of the steering, so far Ive gotten just under 30mpg using premium gas, about 24 using mid range gas. Was ready to buy RAV4 but after taking test drive and seeing the quality and all the standard equipment there was no question honda is a better deal. Not sure how much better V6 would be, this engine has plenty of power for the average driver...

This a fun car to drive! Beautiful dashboard. Practical. Great gas mileage. Roomy backseat while not squishing knees in front.

  • Highway MPG - Fantastic - 2007 Honda CR-V

Purchased 3 weeks ago, at 500 miles took a trip from central NC to mountains and back. First leg was from Raleigh to Asheville and down to the foothills (368 mi), MPG w/mtn driving was 29.4. From foothills back home (174 mi) we averaged 33.1. That was w/4 people/luggage, ~ 650 lbs total w/ one stop-n-go section about a mile due to an accident. The sweet spot in fuel efficiency is approx 2100 RPM, about 68 mph. Around town avge isnt quite what I hoped, about 21.5. If you use the mpg computer & the tach, you can get very good mileage with this vehicle. Also, my tires pressure was low about 5lbs, the TPM system tipped me off, when corrected before second leg, saw a noticeable increase in mpg.

This is my first SUV of any size. I downsized from a 4 dr off road F150 and thought it would take a lot to get use to. The CRV feels like a much larger vehicle but handles like a small one. We took a 3k mile trip and it handled great over to mountainous highways with about a 28 mpg average. The navigation unit makes it even more fun to drive. Whenever I get out of it I am amazed at how small i looks from the outside because it feels like a regular size vehicle.

I used to drive an Acura Integra for 11 years until last January my husband got me a new Black CRV 2007 leather with beige interior. CRV is an excellent SUV, luxurious, 100% made from Japan , reliable car and most of all affordable compare to Acura MDX. I really enjoy driving my CRVand gets a lot of compliments. Fun to drive. Loaded with air bags. I love my CRV! Honda makes excellent cars!

  • Great family vehicle - 2007 Honda CR-V

Ive had this car since January 2 of 2007. Perfect vehicle for a family- baby seat fits great (and easy!), room for stroller and lots of pockets/holders. Ive also pushed the limits of its cargo capacity (e.g., over 24 30-bottle flats of water without putting the rear seats down!)- still amazed at how much this vehicle holds. Acceleration is OK. A little disappointed with the quality of the metal on the doors-Ive had a couple small dents from other car doors hitting mine. Definitely update the tires later-they tend to catch on road surfaces which pushes the car side-to- side. Handles perfectly otherwise-very stable and comfortable.

This is my first Honda. Have had Chevy, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford, Volkswagen etc. This is the first time I write a review on a car. Only reason I really like this car all around. We just returned from a 7500 mile, 30 day trip. Never stepped out the car unable to move my rather stiff limbs, got 29.3mpg over the whole trip (mostly highway driving but still). Have now 12k+ miles on the car and "did" 2 oil changes at a dealer at a cost of $ 28 each. It is the best overall car I have ever owned and I am officially old.
