  • The Vibration problem is Real - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Just spent close to 30,000 dollars on my first brand new car and one day into owning it noticed the vibration problem at idle. I am so disappointed and feel Honda and the dealerships are scamming consumers. They dont yet have a fix and are not telling potential buyers about this problem. I would have definitely bought a different car had I read the consumer reviews (not the biased corporate reviews) prior to purchasing. Having owned a reliable and smooth operating Accord for 13 years, I trusted the brand and the dealership. A Honda loyalist no more. Major disappointment.

  • Vibration when in idle - 2015 Honda CR-V

I purchased a 2015 CR-V EX on Memorial Day and only one day after owning it I am now experiencing the infamous vibration issues (here is a link to the problem posted by Honda on their YouTube page - youtu.be/a6K6JPh7zak). Clearly, Honda has known about this problem for a while (the video was posted in April) and yet they continue to sell the car. They say they dont quite know what the problem is but are confident that there is no operational hazard! Unfortunately for me, I didnt know about this problem until after I bought the car or else I wouldnt have purchased it. I spoke to the Sales Manager and Salesperson at the dealership and both say that there is no "cooling off" period in Cal

  • The Best SUV ... Vibration NOT an Issue - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

I purchased new 2015 Honda CRV EX couple of months back. I have now over 1000 miles on it. I am very happy with my decision to buy this car. Its fun to drive - smooth and steady. New 2015 CRV looks awesome externally with spacious inside. The new features like hill start assist, lane watch, touchscreen are great. Excellent fuel economy. In a nutshell - "Its value for money" !! I guess some people are exaggerating "Vibration Issue". There is slight vibration sometimes ONLY when stopping at Red Light in "Drive" gear, but it is not as much noticeable as some people have described. There is NO VIBRATION when driving the car at any speed.

  • Vibration car - 2015 Honda CR-V

I bought my brand new CRV 2015 and got the car in May 2015 Everything is perfect in this car excet this annoying vibration. I cant understand how Honda is willing to lose their reputation by allowing such a considerable flaw in their best selling SUV. Tge vibration really frustrates me everytime I drive the car and stop at a stop sign or red signal. I can see tge passenger seat shaking.... I dont know wgat I should do now and how to deal with my car!!!

  • Honda continues to lie - 2015 Honda CR-V

The vibrations at a stop while in gear with the brake in is just too much for me to ignore. Honda will tell you it has something to do with the engine and transmission combo... It simply isnt true. Fact 1 - If I am stopped, in drive, with the brake pushed in, the car idle drops and the car vibrates horribly. Fact 2 - If I am stopped, in drive, with the EMERGECY BRAKE on, and my foot off the brake, the vibration STOPS and the RPMs go up. I try to tell Honda this has something to do with the power brake system pulling power from the engine, but they wont hear it. Mark my words, they will figure it out someday, and the issue will be with the power brake system.

  • Vibration Makes Me Crazy - 2015 Honda CR-V

I dont believe anyone who says their 2015 CRV doesnt vibrate. Ive driven 6 of them now trying to find one that doesnt. They all do. Mine vibrates during acceleration at 1000 and 2000 RPMs, and also at the idle. Its very noticeable through the steering wheel and the seats. The dealer claims that no one else has complained but me. I dont believe them either. Supposedly they hadnt even heard about the video from Honda until I called it to their attention.

  • So good I just had to say something. - 2015 Honda CR-V

I love this car and had to review because of all the complaints that I saw on here. I bought the CRV to replace a 2013 Accord that I just never really fell in love with. The build quality on my car is excellent. I do recommend that you test drive the particular car that you are buying so that you are not concerned with the vibration issue that some are having. Mine does vibrate a little when completely stopped at a red light for a long period, but I only noticed it because of the comments on this forum. This slight vibration is due to a very low idle which is much better to have than one of those cars that turn off the engine at each stop.

  • My new CR-V EX - 2015 Honda CR-V

I just brought my new Honda CR-V a few weeks ago. I own a 2006 honda pilot before with almost 160,000 miles and decided to get a new honda and wanted a small SUV this time because of the gas mileage. Overall I am very happy with my new CR-V. I am averaging 30 mpg 75 percent highway driving. I wanted the leather but the Crv EXL was almost 3000 dollars more than the EX so I am happy with the EX its got everything I needed. I do notice a slight vibrations sometimes but its not bothersome at all mostly at idle and some slight vibrations between 20 to 30 mph. Its not annoy at all. Overall its rides very nice and very comfortable. My families tell me that its rides very quiet.

  • Heavenly CRV - 2015 Honda CR-V

Traded in my 14 yr. old Lexus ES300 -- my baby -- for a practical CRV. I researched for months on my next vehicle. Lo and behold, I bought the CRV. Am pleased with the electronics, right side-view and back-up cameras. The vibration is a little bothersome, but overall, am very happy with my new CRV! Havent bought a brand new vehicle since 1985 -- that was a Honda Civic. Now, 30 yrs. later, its a CRV. Great job, Honda!

  • Vibration and Shuddering - 2015 Honda CR-V

Vibrates abnormally when vehicle is in drive with my foot on the brake. Car manufacture date is 4/2015. I purchased it after Honda came out with this video but was told nothing about it by the dealer. I can actually see the front passenger headrest vibrating strongly when stopped at a traffic signal and RPMs dip to around 600.
