  • Good runner if you dont mind the rust!!! - 1991 Geo Storm
    By -

This little car is a mixed bag. Worked well mechanically and was quite reliable. Unfortunately it is prone to rusting..BIg Time.. A flaw that seems to be in all Geos once theyre a few years old.. so take note!..I wish someone had told me.

  • Fun yet practical little car - 1992 Geo Storm
    By -

Ive owned this car for over a year, and had no troubles other than the alternator breaking once. Just make sure to do the maintenance regularly and you should get many happy miles out of it. I drive it daily in the city and have taken it on long trips. The AC blows as cold as new(I had it professionally serviced with stop leak compounds), and there is plenty of power even on the highway. The car is quite small, and most adults would have trouble with the rear headroom, but the front has more than adequate space. The size is deceiving, its small on the outside but big on the inside. When I moved to a new apartment, I didnt need to hire a van!

  • great little car - 1991 Geo Storm

Ive had this car for about 6 years and have nothing but good things to say. It has 185K and recently due to a new job which require me to drive all the time Ive reaaly started to rack the miles and she is holding strong. No major problems to date. The only complaint would come from my daughter who is almost 5"9 and on occassion has had to sit in the back where there is no leg room. But wouls strongly recommend for the price and the milage.

  • Good Car for the money - 1990 Geo Storm
    By -

My grandmother gave me my Storm. She bought it brand new in 1990. She loved it. It never gave them any serious trouble, got good gas mileage, and had cheap insurance. The only reason she gave it to me is because she is handicapped and cannot get out of the house by herself. She needeed a bigger vehicle. Anyways, I think that the Storm is a good first car for a teenager. It has good styling, especially considering its age, it has good fuel economy and cheap insurance. And an airbag, which many cars this old dont have. It could use another speed in the base models auto, but other than that no big design prob. Overall, a good , reliable car for not much money.

  • What a trooper! - 1991 Geo Storm
    By -

I have had this car for 11 years! I love this car! It is economical, stable and very nimble for the time period/design. The odometer just crested: 174,565. I have the original clutch in this car! The interior has a great driver friendly design. This car is very peppy for the amount of hp. It handles nicely on turns, no pitch or yaw present.

no complaints about this car. just crested 270K miles on the original engine last month. great to drive, especially if you like the curves. tight turning circle. engine revs high with no strain. most responsive front end ive ever driven. lots of road-feel. the trade-off of course is that the ride can seem a little rough at times, but if you like road-feel, its a great car, esp. considering the price. i have no regrets.

  • Raving for the tricked out Storm! - 1991 Geo Storm

This is the most unbelievable car in the world. Im looking ahead to buying another one when mine finally dies. Great handling. Terrific accelleration. WAY higher top speed than the factory specs! And its SO cheap.

  • Spartan, but reliable - 1992 Geo Storm
    By -

Bit spartan, but reliable, hatchback allows for carrying oversize items. 1.6L engine perky enough to get around nicely. I bought this car because of its excellent used condition not so much because I wanted a Storm, but I have never been sorry. Minus point is that the back seats are not useful, except for little children. I get 35.5 miles/gallon on 87 octane gas.

  • Fun to Drive Sporty Coupe - 1992 Geo Storm
    By -

Bought my Storm used in `94 with 4500 miles. Great runner, and really fun to drive. Now with 125,000 miles, I cringe at the thought of having to replace it someday. Many fond memories from college on...

  • Good car for a Geo - 1993 Geo Storm
    By -

Good reliable car, but rust can be a problem. Have had it for five years now, and no major repairs done. However, Ive had it painted three times and rust still comes through. First I thought it was just bad painting, but Ive seen other cars with rust in the same spots, so it could just be bad factory design. Its got good power for a 1.8L car and the suspension is excellent, very tight and responsive. Theres not alot of room in the car but seats two people very comfortably.
