- Huge interior, strong lineup of V8 engines, available Quadrasteer four-wheel steering system, extensive list of optional features.
- Some cheap interior materials considering the price, bulky size makes it unwieldy for daily use.

Best Big SUV - 2005 GMC Yukon XL
By JV - April 23 - 12:26 pmGreat SUV. For a big SUV I get great gas mileage,19 in town and over 21 on the road. Much better than a comparable Suburban which is the reason I bought the GMC instead of the Suburban.

Love this car! - 2005 GMC Yukon XL
By Bonita Vergara - April 6 - 4:40 amI love this vehicle. It is excellent for large families and hauling large items. It doesnt do too well with in city driving but is wonderful for long rides and highway driving. Lots of room for everyone as well as cargo space. I would get another one!

My first Yukon - 2005 GMC Yukon XL
By Lucy Fan - February 24 - 2:33 pmI absolutely love my Yukon XL. I had two Expeditions prior to this, and I love this more. It pulls our 26 ft. travel trailer like nothing! Its very comfortable for long trips. OnStar is definitely a great safety/security feature. It has some extra special features the Expedition doesnt. I love the extra cargo space. It drives beautifully, and engine is so quiet and smooth running. Freeway mileage is great. This is finally the vehicle I can honestly say fits all my needs. This one is a definite keeper. It can haul kids, grandkids, pets, everyone, and comfortably. Seats 8...What more can I say? Check it out. You wont be sorry!

Wow! - 2005 GMC Yukon XL
By Chris - January 17 - 11:53 amThis is my 2nd Yukon XL and my first Denali and this one has been my best vehicle I have ever owned in the 27 years that I have been driving. The comfort cant be beat. Weve driven it from Maine to Florida and back and had not complaints. The power is there when you need it and the gas mileage isnt bad for the size vehicle it is and the comfort. I have had no issues with mechanical problems and its never broken down on me at all. I recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants a lot of vehicle for their money. This beats any import out there as well! Solid vehicle.
