GMC's strong-selling Yukon heads into 2002 with few changes. The 5300 V8 is now ultralow emission certified (ULEV) for California. For states with less restrictive emission requirements, the Yukon offers flexible fuel capability with the use of cleaner burning gasoline blends. A more efficient starter, more durable steering gear housing and LATCH child seat attachments anchors round out the Yukon's upgrades for 2002.

Excellent Ride - 2002 GMC Yukon
By marshal - May 3 - 2:00 amGreat ride, excellent handling. Well built vehicle. I found the turning radius and steering of this vehicle much better than the GMC Jimmy, although that was a smaller model. The headroom and elbow room in the front seat is excellent. Very spacious.

Suburban replacement - 2002 GMC Yukon

My first trip was an 800 mile round trip to visit my daughter.It was a joy to drive on the interstates and in the city. Very comfortable and almost nimble in heavy traffic. Great lines of vision. Very low wind noise at highway speed. A very comfortable ride quality. Go get yourself one!

By stp1 - April 2 - 2:00 amJust bought a 4X4 SLE in storm gray metallic with the 5.3, third row, running boards, trailer tow, and all-season tires. Very impressed with the quietness of the cabin, tight turning radius, and ride. Owned a Toyota Tundra before and this is my first GMC purchase. Overall I am impressed, but shouldnt I be for the money! Hope I get the same reliability!
