Overview & Reviews
For 2004, the Yukon features the addition of a tire-pressure monitoring system and newly styled optional 17-inch wheels. A chrome exhaust tip is now standard and the trailering package includes a seven-to-four-pin adapter and electric brake wiring harness. For added safety, the Yukon now features Hydroboost brakes, and there is a front passenger seatbelt reminder. The antenna for the optional XM Satellite Radio is smaller this year, and the rear-seat entertainment system can now be combined with a sunroof. Lastly, the passenger-side exterior door lock has been eliminated.
- Strong engines, roomy and versatile interior, rugged chassis, numerous available amenities.
- Spotty build quality, interior materials could be better.

Love it, my all time favorite - 2004 GMC Yukon
By cmf - March 2 - 2:00 amIm not a car person but now I am. Ive owned a previous SUV and it was a good car but this one is superior. I travel alot and my husband is out of town often so I have comfort with the On Star system, satellite radio for those remote areas.

Kids Are Grown, STILL LOVE IT ! - 2004 GMC Yukon
By Roberta - March 2 - 2:00 amOur kids are grown, and I am usually the only one in the car,but it is the best thing I did for myself. You can get in and out of the tightest mall spaces, turn on a dimewhile sitting heads and shoulders above everybody else. I love that I could go to Homegoods and decide to take advantage of that beautiful 3x6 double glass curio case, and fit it in without having to leave the extra seats home,to fit it in.Not to mention,to load and unload the cargo area is the lightest, easiest thing ever. The Denali is the most omfortable"Big Boy". I will get one again.Love GM products, and this baby is exactly like The Caddie Escalade..

somewhat disapointed - 2004 GMC Yukon
By Stu456 - January 18 - 2:00 amBody fit and finish disappoiinting for upscale vehicle. Lacks simple inexpensive features found on my 1002. No key locked compartments within the vehicle. Rear light swich eliminated, console compartment small and lacks booklet holder underside of cover. Just some items that were of a convienence no longer available. Would NOT buy another or from that dealership.

Best SUV I have ever owned! - 2004 GMC Yukon
By RealmsManiac - March 26 - 2:00 amI have had several SUVs and I must say that the GMC Yukon is the best one so far. Reliability, comfort, durability and driving pleasure all wrapped into one truck.

By JakeBenny - March 26 - 2:00 amWe enoy driving long distance with it. Love the pick up when getting on a major highway. Packing for camping is easy and the dogs love it. You dont feel the bumps and that helps with back problems. We dont like the gas millage in town. Would I buy another no due to price. I will get just the Yukon.

Denali 2004 - 2004 GMC Yukon
By Newman - March 19 - 2:00 amI love this car. My family is constantly arguing over who gets to drive it(our other car is a Mercedes). This car is definately more comfortable and drives better(smoother) than my E320. As for the gas mileage--it gets better MPG than my brother-in-laws BMW M3. For such a large powerful vehicle the gas mileage is pretty good.

GMC Yukon is solid as they come - 2004 GMC Yukon
By Jon J - April 18 - 10:00 amThis was my first GMC vehicle and certainly not my last. The quality which was put in to the design and building of the vehicle is extraordinary. Everything fits, nothing rattles or wobbles, or makes noise, unless its supposed to and you can just tell that the quality is there. My only complaint was that I couldnt get 17" wheels and tires...only on the Denalli which was not worth the difference in price (about $10,000). All in all, I am very happy with this one.
