For 2004, the Yukon features the addition of a tire-pressure monitoring system and newly styled optional 17-inch wheels. A chrome exhaust tip is now standard and the trailering package includes a seven-to-four-pin adapter and electric brake wiring harness. For added safety, the Yukon now features Hydroboost brakes, and there is a front passenger seatbelt reminder. The antenna for the optional XM Satellite Radio is smaller this year, and the rear-seat entertainment system can now be combined with a sunroof. Lastly, the passenger-side exterior door lock has been eliminated.

By ryan hodge - March 3 - 2:00 amI have enjoyed my new 2004 Yukon Denali, it gives superb performance, comfort and luxary. Also, it is a great highway vehicle averaging 19 mpg, which is not bad for a 7000gwt truck.

By N.Hills - March 2 - 2:00 amI really love my Denali but very disappointed with the material used in and around the vehicle is coming apart. the molding on the inside and outside is constantly falling off, the headrest seats where they connect are coming apart. The guide for the seats to move forward and backwards is coming off. You will have to be an installer to keep the unit together. I was totally surprised at the manufacturing and material use in a General Motors car and a luxury car at that.I still feel that the tranny is loose but am told at the dealers otherwise. Other than those things it is a great vehicle.

About the only negative is that it is big and the fuel economy is poor, but if you want power to tow with a ride second none, this is your vehicle. I have taken this on some long trips over 2,000 miles and still enjoy getting behind the wheel of this one.

By Faun - March 2 - 2:00 amMy husband and I have gone through NUMEROUS cars in the last 10 years, and this is by far my favorite. The few things I had to get used to were, the turning, parking, & fuel consumption ($49.00 fill up 31 gal.). Those are the "negatives". For the positives, I could go on and on...but most importantly, you get a lot of respect on the road. The kids love it and we can haul all of their stuff, and all of us (5), VERY comfortably. Its a beautiful vehicle that is a pleasure to drive. The feeling of being safe, with the size and build of the car along with having Onstar, gives me incredible peace of mind.

By Dave Hackler - March 2 - 2:00 amI trade annually, and Ive owned many different vehicles. The Yukon Denali XL is my all time favorite. For ride and comfort I dont think you can find anything to beat it. The larger 6000 series engine make acceleration smooth and unlabored. Handling is a breeze with the power assisted steering. We test drove the Toyota Sequoia and were pleased with that, but we were convinced by the much more stable ride found in the Yukon.
