Overview & Reviews
For 2005, seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. A touchscreen DVD-based navigation system is now available. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags). A top-rung Denali trim is available, and includes distinctive trim, leather seating and a 5.3-liter V8 engine as standard equipment.
- Extensive list of available options, strong six-cylinder engine, user-friendly interior design.
- Numb steering, some low-grade interior pieces, sloppy handling around corners.

Envoy - 2005 GMC Envoy
By cowboy - July 29 - 7:46 pmMarshmallow springs, licorice whip sway bars...maybe with hot fudge it would be a treat, but for driving down the interstate or up a two-lane mountain road, this thing is scary.

WORST SUV EVER OWNED - 2005 GMC Envoy
By Anincrv - November 17 - 7:07 pmBEING A LONG TIME OWNER OF SUVS I find my new envoy to be the worst one yet. The front bumper cover doesnt sit straight, back to dealer 4 times in less than a month for that. It rattles and makes all kind of strange noises. It is really underpowered with that 4200 6 cyl. that feels like a 4 cylinder under my foot. It is being serviced more than it is in my garage ! all this trouble and only driven it 275 miles and owned it less than a month. I am VERY disappointed with it and my selling dealer will do nothing about it !!
