NICE VAN - 2005 Ford Freestar
By TREVOR - April 2 - 3:28 pmI found my van to be not like the reviews said it to be - nice interior and great gas economy, and way more torque than any other van. Third row seats fold flat into foor and the DVD system is great for the kids. The bottom line is the vans are all the same but the Ford was way cheaper the Honda or Toyota and I feel the Ford Freestar is just as good as both of those vans. My wife loves the van for it gives her a good view of the road and has adjustable pedals which no other company offers

My Freestar - 2005 Ford Freestar
By Jodi - March 29 - 2:21 pmVery reliable. A little lacking in power but a definite sense of security when you drive this vehicle.

About the same as the Windstar - 2005 Ford Freestar
By Family in MI - March 18 - 11:25 amI traded in my Windstar which was one big electrical problem. And it seems I just got a new version of the Windstar. Still electrical problems. Ive had the electric door module fixed twice in 5 months. The door ajar light stays on with the dome lights when the module goes out. Had the same problem with my Windstar. The quality inside is worse than the Windstar and has cheaper plastic. But it looks nice inside. I just dont feel the quality is there. I dont like that you cant get cloth seats in the Limited. I dont like leather, its too hard and uncomfortable. I like the van, but it isnt my best choice. I should have shopped better.

Good Minivan for the Price - 2005 Ford Freestar
By Sunburn - October 26 - 2:00 amRecently bought an 04 SEL after looking at used Grand Caravan SEs. The Freestar was only about $1K more after all the rebates and discounts. The Freestar has far more features for the price. The interior design is good, with lots of storage. The 1st and 2nd row seats are comfortable. The 3rd row is only suitable for adults for very short trips. The bottom cushion is too close to the floor. The powertrain is a mixed bag. The 4.2L has great torque, but can be a bit unrefined at times. The mileage could be better as well. The transmission is unobtrusive. The ride is comfortable and quiet. The handling is good. The build quality appears very good as well. Overall, a good, but not great minivan.

my freestar - 2005 Ford Freestar
By jennifer lambert - September 11 - 2:00 amI have only had this wehicle for a couple of months so far I love it. But the bench seat does not fold into the floor flush, and I wish the ac was push button and not a nob. Seats could be a little more comfortable.
