The emissions-friendly 2.3-liter PZEV engine released in limited states in 2003 is now available as an option in all states (it comes standard in California, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont and Maine). The only other notable changes to the 2004 Ford Focus are newly optional leather seating for ZX3 models, and a slightly revised suspension offers improved handling.

  This is a great car at MSRP; with current Ford rebates, its a steal...but not for much longer, 04 is the last year for the SVT Focus. Its a terrific drivers car with superb steering, handling, and brakes, and a strong engine (though power delivery could be better). Early Focus problems seem to be worked out; build quality is great and the SVT is tight as a drum. Its a blast to drive, but works as a practical, roomy hatchback too. Im surprised it hasnt been more popular--its price and quality make it superior to Civic Si, GTI, etc.

  I have had my car going on 1 year soon and I love it. I have put a few performance parts on her and she runs and looks like a dream. My husband and I even named her lil lemon. I have a 5 yr old little boy and between us three there is no comfort problems, she is wonderful on gas, since my husband will drive it every now and then from the AV to Camp Pendleton and it will fit all of his marine gear with NO problems. I LOVE MY CAR!

  My experience with a ZX3 2000 Ford Focus Hatchback 2 door has been really awesome. I fell in love once my eyes set on her. I have a really bad obsession with this car.

  As a poor college student this car was my first choice. It is very economical (the price and the amount I save on gas). I recommend this car to anyone! It is very roomy inside and is extremely quiet!

  I have had my Focus since October 2000. It gets good fuel mileage and if you take good care of your car, it will take good care of you.

  I love my Focus.....it is perfect for what I needed financially, economically and relistically. The back seat has planty of room to seat confortabely, and the front seat has plenty of leg room, even for my 64" boyfriend. I am impressed with its power and gas mileage, it does very well out on the open highway and on long road trips. I am very pleased with my purchase!!
