The emissions-friendly 2.3-liter PZEV engine released in limited states in 2003 is now available as an option in all states (it comes standard in California, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont and Maine). The only other notable changes to the 2004 Ford Focus are newly optional leather seating for ZX3 models, and a slightly revised suspension offers improved handling.

dont make the mistake of buying a focus - 2004 Ford Focus
By allgdgary - March 8 - 2:00 ami had one problem after another with the focus. after it got about 5000 miles the fuel economy was about 12mpg instead of 33mpg. I had to have brake work done 4 times while I had it. In the end I traded it in and only got $5800 while i still owed 14000. I would have to say that I would never buy another Ford Product.

Absolute Garbage - 2004 Ford Focus
By sforsyth101 - September 13 - 2:00 amI have had my ZX5 for less than 1 year and I have gone through 4 sets of brakes and 2 sets of rotors and drums. I have had it in for repairs more than I have actually had the vehicle in my possession. It has been in to have the brakes fixed 5 times, and they still have not found what the problem is. Now, on top of that, the transmission is starting to slip gears and shift extremely hard (it is an automatic, there just isnt an option for that in the choices). Now they are telling me that they have to completely rebuild my transmission. I would not recommend this car to anyone due to the poor quality and that Ford refuses to make any needed repairs.

i rented a brand new one - 2004 Ford Focus
By Cherylg - April 11 - 2:00 ami took the car it had very few miles and i was going from brooklyn new york to lancaster PA the ride was very uncomfortable and the steering wheel shook when the car went over 65miles i would never ever buy any kind of ford cause i had a 1986 sable and thats similar to ford tauras which i think wereboth very unproductive vechiles so think before you purchase one.
