The emissions-friendly 2.3-liter PZEV engine released in limited states in 2003 is now available as an option in all states (it comes standard in California, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont and Maine). The only other notable changes to the 2004 Ford Focus are newly optional leather seating for ZX3 models, and a slightly revised suspension offers improved handling.

  Ive owned my Focus since 9/27/01 and its been a great car. Its fun to drive and totally reliable. Ive never had one thing go wrong with it.

  I was a not looking for a car when I bought my Focus,I had been looking for a SUV. We needed sometning big enough for a family of five. My Focus had been great,We all love it.It has plenty of room for everyone and great trunk space.I will look at anopther focus when it is time to trade.

  Im a big guy - 64" - and laughed when the dealer told me Id find the Focus comfortable, but he was right. Its so much bigger inside than youd ever think, and Ive been really glad that I bought it. Its a reliable, zippy little car. Great for commuting, great on gas mileage. Huge trunk. Id recommend it to anyone.

  After purchase, I feel abandoned by World Ford. [Although, I did get solicitations for auto insurance] Engine idles roughly -- enough to shake the vehicle. Cuts completely out when coasting with the clutch in. Frankly, I do not trust WF enough to take it back. I can see the $$$ now -- as I opted out of the maintenance trap - - a mistake, I suppose.

  My focus is the most comfortable and most reliable car I have ever owned. It gets great gas mileage and it very rarely fails me. If you buy a Focus you wont be sorry.

  this is one great little car! It is fun to drive,very comfortable,and gets reasonably good gas mileage. Its best feature is its remarkable handeling. It also has a front seat that is very ajustable and supportive. I would highly recomend this car to anyone looking for a vehicle of this size.

  I once had a 01 model with a 5 speed, this auto is just as fun to drive and the the quality is so good compared to other cars I have had " neon,mustang,daewoo" to name a few. I would give it a second look, can so many europeans be that wrong ?

  I find that the ford focus is a wonderful economy car for families, college students, and people who do not want to waste money on gas (like me). The focus is fun to drive and very stylish. Good job Ford Motor Company.
