Not much but very reliable - 1990 Ford Festiva
By Dale L - July 14 - 2:00 amWrecked my baby and bought this car to get me back and forth till I get my next. Ok a year later Im still driving it and it has become apart of me. This car just wont die!! Always started and never left me stranded. Cold natured but for $600 and 155,000 miles I cant complain. Eats alittle oil but worth the $1 a week for a quart. Not bad after 600 miles a week in driving. Seats are like boards though and it really isnt a interstate car. I should have found a 5 speed model instead of a 4 speed. Remember this car only weighs 1600 pounds. Still gets 38 mpg!!

Perfect city car - 1993 Ford Festiva
By ifedulov - April 19 - 2:00 amThe gas milage just amazing. Im getting about 300 miles on 8 gallons of gas in city/highway driving. That is almost 38MPG! Amazing car. My expenses so far are: $150 new exhaust, $140 rear brakes and 3x$20 oil changes. Oh and not to mention street parking. That is just simply the second best feature of this car. It can fit in any spot!

Festivas Rule - 1991 Ford Festiva
By stiva_gal - March 27 - 2:00 amI have put more than 65,000 miles on this car -- it now has more than 90,000 -- and I have experienced minimal repairs. Most were routine maintenance. The no-frills design means there are far fewer things to break down. The car is very reliable in this region where temps range from 100 degrees in summer to -40 in the winter. Mileage ranges from 30 MPG in stop-and-got city traffic to slightly more than 50 MPG on the highway. Seats 4 adults comfortably with space for packages in the hatch.

The little engine that could !!!! - 1993 Ford Festiva
By Midlifer - March 10 - 4:13 pmIf you like cheap and reliable, than the 1993 Ford Festiva is the car to get. The last Festiva I had was traded in for another in 1998 for $3200 at 32,000 mile. The trade-in had 198,000 miles on it and I found out that it got up to 240,000. I know someone with one at 400,000. I delivered my washing machine with it and later a Drier. The back seat folds real flat. Ford stopped offering this car in 1993 but the car is still made as the Kia Pride.
