Fun Car - 1992 Ford Festiva
By Scott in Anchorage - October 19 - 2:00 amThis was the first car I every bought.... In 1992 I bought it used, only 35 miles though.... A Lady won it in a bingo drawing.... tradeed it in for a different car...so I got a great deal,,....... I drive it in the snow here in Alaska,,... I put studed tires on all four wheels...and it goes great in the snow...as long as it is not over a foot of snow....... Never had a big break down......I loved this car....

love my roller skate - 1993 Ford Festiva
By re3ver - October 9 - 2:00 amThis is my second Festiva. I had to buy it used because they arent made any more. My first was involved in a wreck or else I would still be driving it. If they still made them I would buy a new one. With gas prices the way they are my little car pays for itself in savings. It is a fun car and handles well in traffic. I have taken it to retriever field trials and it will go some places the large 4WD trucks cant.

Great car (unfortunately) - 1990 Ford Festiva
By squiggy81 - September 30 - 2:00 amThis thing wont die. Its ugly as hell, but it runs great still with basically no maintainence. In the past 6 years Ive only put a clutch in it aside from tires and such. The rear wiper went out a couple years after I got it, but I dont miss it much. The paint is also starting to oxidize. Im finally giving up on killing it and just getting a new car. Need a little more get up and go, although it is pretty zippy for 63hp.

The Red Festiva Dude - 1990 Ford Festiva
By The red festiva dude - September 25 - 2:00 amnow the festiva was made by kia, and i dont know if the new kias are as good as this car but it rocks. This is my second festiva, I was in the michigan Rally league and raced a festiva, that car took more than any car ever should, and still runs !!! Now i have my second one, and it is just great, even if something goes wrong its so easy to work on, I LOVE FESTIVAS !!!!

Best car I have owned. - 1990 Ford Festiva
By bunkhouse59 - September 9 - 2:00 amI bought this car used in 1994. It now has 240,000 miles on it. Other than normal maintenance, I have had to replace the radiator fan assembly.

great used car - 1991 Ford Festiva
By babs - July 6 - 2:00 amI have owned this car for almost 10 years, and and its always been reliable. It now has over 100,000 miles on it with little rust and few repairs for its age (mostly limited to wheel bearings and mufflers). The fuel economy on a 5-speed is fantastic, its great fun to drive, and it has always handled snow, wet pavement, and icy conditions relatively well. For someone with short legs, its particularly great I can reach the pedals and still sit comfortably far back from the steering wheel. Repairs have proven to be relatively inexpensive, and there is plenty of room in the back for hauling camping equipment.

Herby the red festiva - 1990 Ford Festiva
By Jay Tugz - February 7 - 2:00 amI bought my festiva from an old korean lady for 1000 dollors it had everything AC,AM/FM,auto,new paint and low miles about 40K on it now it has 100K and a now sun roof on it. It is the most reliable car we have, only problems were the vacuum modual and the brakes would wear quickly. But very cheap to maintain.
