Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Upgrade - 2008 Ford F-150
By RajunCajun - May 13 - 4:34 pmI switched from a 2 door Dodge and love my new Ford FX2. It gets a lot of looks and is fun to drive. The ride is quiet even at highway speeds and much smoother than my Dodge. Like the idea of having a 5.4 flex fuel but dont really have to many flex fuel stations.

By jim dence - May 11 - 7:32 pmI have owned 35 cars to date and my F- 150 is by far the best vehicle that I have owned. Turn the key and it starts every time . Best truck for overall reliability and comfort . I still get compliments on how great it looks for its age .

Always enjoyed Ford - 2006 Ford F-150
By Brian - May 11 - 6:39 pmThis is my third F series pickup. Ive enjoyed this truck. I travel up and down the east coast with a 7 by 14 trailer, with 490 miles to a tank, this is the best one by far. The styling and interior design are wonderful.

solid platform and ride. - 2004 Ford F-150
By dbruneau - May 10 - 10:00 amIm driving a 5.4 liter on a extended trip. This is a very refined pickup truck. I was suprised at the intitial assembly quality and materials used for the interior. The sound system is very good and the power train is very smoooth and quiet. Very good ride. Good power, but weight uses up the poneys. No wind noise. Handles well on the turns. Flawless paint and trim. Gas consumption is 15-17mph on the freeways.

10 years of excellent service - 1998 Ford F-150
By kcokc - May 9 - 9:26 amBought new in August 98. XL 4.2 V6, 5- speed 3.55 axle, with XLT interior. TX/OK package. Reliability - one of the best vehicles Ive owned. Never had a breakdown, only real repair was replacement of turn signal switch. Good power for a 6 cylinder, have towed way more than recommended limit for short distances. Only complaint is fuel economy (lack of). 15-16 MPG in urban driving, 20 on highway cruise at interstate speed. Owned two Chevy p/us before, this F150 is better truck by far for a work vehicle/tough truck. Chevys were more confortable, more economical to drive. Gonna miss the old ford when it goes to a new owner shortly. First Ford, was great choice!

Best truck on the market - 2008 Ford F-150
By Nor-Cal - May 5 - 6:13 pmThis is my 2nd F-150 and 3rd Ford overall. I have to say that none of my Fords have ever let me down. I only have 2,500 miles on this truck but has had no issues whatsoever. This truck has all the power I need, as well as all the creature comforts. I also love the styling and gas mileage isnt bad for a 4x4 1/2 ton truck with a 3:73 rear end. I looked at all trucks but the Fords value, reputation, and comfort won me over hands down. I would recommend the F-150 to anyone who wants a tough truck which can tackle any job. Definately not my last F-150!

My new Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By Matt Allen - May 4 - 2:00 amIve only had my truck for about a month but I am already very pleased with it. We took it up in the snow this weekend and the posi-tracktion and anti- slip differetials work great. I love the design and the interior noise level is beyond my expectations. The Truck was a little spendy, I payed a little over 30k for the FX4 with the 5.4l (extras- bed liner, 6 disc changer, tubular running boards, 2 toned yellow paint), but with the 1.9apr I took the deal.

Great truck and deal - 2002 Ford F-150
By cuz - May 3 - 10:00 amExcellent truck for the money, and current rebates and cash incentives make it even more attractive. For those in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana area - there is an additional discount on the TX-OK-LA package.

King Ranch Rules - 2002 Ford F-150
By BCheney - May 3 - 10:00 amAfter driving a Lightning the last two years I wanted a vehicle that could hold 4 large adults with ease. The Super Crew version of the F150 does that, and the King Ranch with its 4 leather bucket seats does that in style. Power (5.4L) and handling is not what the Lightning is but what truck is?

Love the truck, But shes thirsty. - 2005 Ford F-150
By Patry - April 30 - 11:51 amI have had nothing but fun driving the truck. Is hard on gas. But it might be the sound of the exhaust and the cold air intake you want to hear.
