Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Super Truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By super nice - July 8 - 7:46 amI had 2 F150s before this one and they felt like a work truck, nothing else. This one is very comfortable and the design is super nice. It is a tough truck but also a very pretty car to show off.

What a great truck! - 2005 Ford F-150
By James - July 7 - 12:56 pmI had my choice of vehicles to pick from for my company vehicle, so a lot of people raised their eyebrows when I pulled into the office lot with a fully decked out F-150 Lariat ... until they looked at the interior. The clients I entertain always comment on the interior. This truck is quiet and smooth. At nearly 19,000 miles, the truck has been flawless with no rattles or other annoying problems to contend with. I looked at everything, foreign and domestic, and I cannot imagine finding a better built vehicle.

I do not trust this vehicle - 1997 Ford F-150
By ice cream man - July 3 - 1:25 pmI like the drive but I cannot keep it on the road because Ive had numerous problems. I have replaced the engine twice in less than a year and the transmision during this time and now I am experiencing a vacuum leak. I will never invest in anything that has the name Ford on it, even if it is a toy.

My Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By jdevonshire - July 2 - 1:20 amThe truck has more bells and whistles than I was looking for but the price was good. I enjoy the feel and comfort of the ride but now would perfer to have four doors instead of the door and a half setup.

This is a hauler, not a race car - 2005 Ford F-150
By Zoomie - July 2 - 12:33 amThis is a good truck. Ive had it six months and only one issue with a shock leaking when I first bought it. Dealer fixed promptly. Tows 8700 lbs! This is a bear in parking lots, a big, burly, beast. Comfortable cruiser that will take you anywhere, but not 0-60 in 3 secs. 4WD worked well in the snow, but I do wish Ford would invest in some additions like DRLs, auto 4WD, side airbags, satellite radio. Dont get me wrong, I love this truck, but I have to acknowledge its shortcomings. I LOVE the motor, I can go anywhere and really appreciate the 4WD and I can hook up the trailer (~7k lbs) and it will accelerate uphill! But I think the shorter wheelbase contributes to a slight rocking.

The best investment ever - 2008 Ford F-150
By countryboy - June 30 - 10:11 pmAn XLT crew cab 4x4 5.5ft box and a 5.4L ffv. which tows my 4500lb John Deere tractor and a 2000lb car trailer and has no problem doing it and also tows my grandfathers 16ft hilo camper. The ride is much better then my uncles 2007 Tundra and better the my grandpas 2003 Dodge Ram. So if youre looking for a good truck that can haul a family or almost anything you can tow.

The F is for fearsome - 2004 Ford F-150
By WIW06 - June 30 - 8:26 amThe 2004 F-150 is an excellent truck whether for basic needs or for heavy duty work. This is my first truck, was thinking about a Ranger, but believed I wasnt going to get my moneys worth. With the new F-150, I am confident this will last for years to come.

My old F150 - 1995 Ford F-150
By Al - June 30 - 12:05 amThis truck was either a lemon or a truck that had some really hard miles. I bought it used and it ended up needing a lot including, new starter, new clutch, new steering box, rebuilt rear end, new oil pan, new leaf springs and mounting brackets and it is rusting apart. Has only 98000 on it too.
