Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • Disappointed - 2004 Ford F-150

I compared the Toyota Tundra and the F150 and decided to buy American again. (I have been buying Toyota and Honda cars. My son bought the Tundra). But with pulsating brakes, 12- 13 mpg on the highway, and an uncomfortable seat, the 150 has disappointed me.

this is one fast pickup most cars can even come close. A lighting with four doors. And twice the looks.

I have had my 02 lightning and I could not be happier. Its fast, tight, and leaves everything else in the mirrors.

Although we havent owned our truck very long, were sure it will more than serve our needs and satisfy us with all Ford has to offer.

  • Awesome truck - 2007 Ford F-150

I bought this truck for my business. I use it all the time. I have driven it hard and not one time to the shop, no rattles no squeaks. This truck is awesome. I had a Toyota before this and had more squeaks and rattles in it than I care to mention, in the shop all the time. I will stick with American made all the way. This is the third in the fleet after the Toyota went bye bye. I now have a Ford, Dodge, and Silverado all trouble free. Good job. American made and that is all I will buy!

  • If it wasnt for the rust - 2003 Ford F-150

Great truck. Hauled great. K&N Air Intake, custome cat-back dual exhaust added. Gas miliage...well its a truck so what do you expect! If it wasnt for gas prices, I would still have it. The bottom of the doors are starting sto show rust. Concerns me. Sold it just recently for a silly low amount. Bought a Mazda6. I will own a truck again, and it will be a Ford.

I bought the truck with 2000 miles on it, it has been very reliable. 351-v8, usual maintance stuff, brakes, water pump, starter, hoses belts, battery, changed tranny oil (auto) every 30000 and never had any problems, though have never really towed anything heavy for a long distance. Great simple reliable. I wish the new trucks were not so complicated to work on. Oil change every 3000 and still runs strong. Would I buy a new one, not till this one dies and hopefully not for a long time.

  • Not Too Bad - 2005 Ford F-150

Ive had my 2005 for about 4 months. When I first bought it, used, the front differential sensor was out and 4WD wouldnt engage. After the fix, its been okay. Mine doesnt have the limited slip and is virtually useless in the snow, even with 4WD engaged. Other than that, the interior is great, ride is nice and it pulls my 23 trailer just fine. (With a bike and generator in the bed.) I have 33" tires and the fuel economy is horrendous. I get 10-12 empty and 6-8 with a trailer. (My trailer is about 4,000 pounds) Ive had 3 previous F150s and they have been better off-road, but not nearly as comfortable as my 2005. Reliability hasnt been as issue with any of them, with normal maintenance.

  • Great Every Day Truck - 2007 Ford F-150

Overall great truck. Sits nice and high rides well. At 62" interior room is top notch. Looks great though leather seats could be more plush

  • Best of three - 2003 Ford F-150

Get 20 mpg on the high way all the time. Use Motor Craft oil in all changes. Always starts, A/C is cold, comfortable for long trips. Companion can put seat down or a child can sleep on back bench. Tinted windows are what I would have installed in another vehicle. Just the right tint. No rattles.
