Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • Horrible Seats - 2006 Ford F-150
    By -

The F150 for me has the worst seat comfort out of any truck on the market bar none. I cant get comfortable no matter how hard I try and the seats are as hard as a rock. Other than the seats, the engine is severely underpowered (5.4) and the transmission is sluggish. I dont recommend this truck to anyone unless you want to be uncomfortable. The previous generation F150s were much better in my opinion.

  • Its all that! - 2007 Ford F-150
    By -

This is the best truck Ive ever owned. Ive got 46k miles on it, and it drives like the day that I bought it. I dont know why people have all of these negative comments about gas mileage. People have to learn how to drive economically. Its all about driving style. I drive 90% interstate, and regularly get over 600 miles out of my 30 gallon tank.

  • cheap 2014 King Ranch - 2014 Ford F-150

This will be the 4th King Ranch SuperCrew F150 I have owned and I will have to say it is the worst handling on a windy day is a challenge, my 2007 would ride smoothly on a windy day down in South Texas" Pulling a 5x10 trailer" from around 17 miles per gallon drops down too 9 miles per gallon " this truck feels like it has no suspension and that is City driving in Houston, just terrible" my 2007 King Ranch out rides this 2014" :( and i would get a way better gas mileage on my 2007 pulling a small trailer" dont think this 3.5 engine will last 8 years :(

  • Great Truck - 2004 Ford F-150

This is a great vehicle. I drove some 2002-2003 Corvettes looking for a good performance vehicle. This SVT is as good a performer as the Corvette in a straight line unless you get the ZO6 option. This has been a pleasure to drive and have had a ton of good feed back on the truck.

  • F-150 is a great truck - 2004 Ford F-150

I dont have as much money to spend on vehicles as a lot of the folks I see writing reviews out there. I opted for the XL 4x4 and added towing package and cruise. I dont live in my truck and dont need fancy radios and all the creature comforts. I do need a truck I can drie to work and hunt and fish out of and not need to worry about getting stuck or getting it wet and dirty (vinyl floor is ideal). With that, I got F-150 attitude, quiet ride, easy to engage 4x4, towing capacity. My father owns a loaded 2004 Chevrolet C1500 4x4. I drove it and thought I wanted one. Then, I drove the Ford. Hands down, the tightest ride in the fleet!

  • Issues but cool - 2004 Ford F-150

Nice pickup but milage is worse than my 2001 F-150. Been to the dealership twice, both times unit would not start and went into engine failure mode, at this time Ford has no fix for this issue.

  • Absolutely a great truck - 1995 Ford F-150
    By -

I own a 1995 F-150 XLT 4X4 Flareside Extended Cab with 123,000 miles, and it is a great truck. The 5.0 V8 makes it a blast to drive, the fuel economy isnt really that bad, and 4WD in the winter makes it pretty much unstoppable. Nothing ever goes wrong with it, it never needs repairs. The only parts Ive ever put on it were tires, a ball-joint, oil, and filters. I always get comments and compliments about the way it looks. If u ever need a good truck to haul something, an old F-150 is a great choice.

  • I Love My Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
    By -

I wasnt sure what I wanted when I went looking for a new vehicle, I only knew it had to have enough room for three adult sized people to sit in comfort in the back seat and I really didnt want to settle for another minivan. The Ford SuperCrew cab was better then all the other trucks I looked at for back seat comfort. I got a great deal. It hauls my teenagers and all their related junk. With 4WD I never have to worry about getting stuck. Its comfortable on long journeys and it looks good too. Ive had my truck 8 months and I still smile every time I see it. I love my truck!

  • 2004 F150 SuperCrew - 2004 Ford F-150

Beautiful truck!!! Rides very smooth almost like a sedan. Upgraded from 1998 F150 Supercab and there is no comparison on the interior design. Very roomy and comfortable back seat. Our two year old now has plenty of room in the backseat and Im not being kicked all the time. The leather seats are also much softer than in previous model. I would definately buy this vehicle again.
