Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • Awesome Truck - 2007 Ford F-150

I traded in my 06 Chevy Silverado that was tricked out for my Ford. I wanted the bigger engine because mine was a 4.6. My neighbor talked me into to it. The interior of the Ford is overall sexier than Chevy. The FX2 edition comes with the body kit. Although I would have liked the Titan, Ford gave me more bang for my buck. For the price I paid for my FX2, I would have only gotten a base model Titan. I lost a little bit of towing, but I will never tow that much so in reality I bought a truck that even my wife isnt afraid to drive. Now, I just have to ask her can I drive my truck sometime.

I am an F-150 man all the way. I still have my 05 FX-4, now with 84,000 miles, and it has been great, not one issue what so-ever. I tow horse trailers on the regular, and I have already towed horses with this new one, and it is just plain phenomenal. I love it. Everything that was great about the 05 is even greater in the 09, and the very few things I would have changed in the 05, they did so in the 09. The 5.4 is still no racer, but linked to the 6 auto trans, this thing tows 8000 pounds plus thru the mountains so easily. I didnt think they could have improved on the 04 redesign this much but leave it to Ford to make such a great truck. All their vehicles should be this great.

  • Best truck ever - 2005 Ford F-150

I never thought someone would build a truck that rides as well as most cars while not giving up the "toughness" a truck needs. My new F-150 Lariat is not only a great looking vehicle; it gives you the best of both worlds with truck tough reliability and comfort that is as good or better than most cars!

Ive owned a lot of trucks over the years and this is by far the best all around truck Ive ever owned. The interior is top notch quality that rivals my wifes luxury SUV (I wont mention what brand, but its a direct competitor). The 5.4 Triton offers the power I need, yet still gets very respectable gas mileage. Trucks Ive owned in the past have always been weekend warriors, but this truck is my everyday driver, just because its so much fun to drive. Its handling characteristics are very well mannered for a truck. This is my second Ford in 7 years and I havent had any problems in 7 years. I will probably be a Ford owner for a long time to come.

  • BEST FORD TRUCK EVER MADE - 2017 Ford F-150

Owning the FORD F-150 has been my best experience ever. I have owned chevys , Toyota, dodge, and a Titan. But over all this F-150 is by far the BEST handling , performance and the BEST mpg ( miles per gallon ) . Were averaging in town driving 18 miles to the gallon and interstate miles per gallon 23.8. Im 6ft 4 and 374 lbs. And the truck rides comfortable and is easy to get in and out of. Ford has really stepped up to the plate as far as the overall expectations of a full size truck. The lighter body was an excellent idea, as we have now seen other dealers going to . Wereally please to say that when 2020 the NEW FORD BRONCO is coming back to AMERICA. My wife said she will be the PROUD OWNER in driving that vehicle. One more thing-if yourre ever in the PARIS, TENNESSEE area ,check out JOE MAHON FORD. They are the BEST folks that you will ever meet, their employees are the nicest and most thought of folks to deal with. If your looking for a caring, generous and giving sales person . Then you need to meet MRS. ANGIE sweetest woman to deal with and to know. Without her our visit may have not been possible. FORD NEEDS TO RECONIZED HER AS THE BEST SALESWOMAN OF THE YEAR. THANK YOU MOHAN FORD for making us a PROUD FORD OWNER.

  • F150 Is THE Truck - 2004 Ford F-150

The new 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Supercab is a superior truck. The ride is very smooth for a 4X4 and the cab is very quiet. I test drove other trucks and none could compare. The truck handles very well with the new steering and chasis changes. This truck actually rides better than probably 50% or more of the automobiles on the road today. There is adaquate power from the 5.4 V8.

Truck is solid. I bought this truck as a toy and put long travel with coilovers and have beat the heck out of it. Now it is used to tow my trailer and has never left me stranded. This is the best truck I have ever owned and have no negative comments. The only time this truck has been in the shop is to diagnose the check engine light which ended up being the faulty JET performance chip, do not buy one.

  • Good Bang for the Buck - 2008 Ford F-150

I road tested several trucks, and liked the Chevrolet, but after driving the Ford truck, I was sold!!! Great ride quality, nice interior, attractive exterior, smooth handling. Glad I opted for the bigger 5.4 engine!

The Limited Edition F-150 is my first truck and I am absolutely amazed with it. It has no upgrades except the BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires. In my opinion it is very tough. I have used it to climb very steep mud and dirt hills with no problems at all, and almost completely submerged my engine in muddy water and it continues to preform. I have pulled other trucks out of deep that I was able to get through with ease. I would not trade this truck for anything... well maybe the 2009 Edition but that is it. I love my Ford.

The truck SEEMS big when cornering or parking. I think the 21 inch wheels make it unnecessarily high off the ground. I had to replace a tire and found most manufacturers dont make the standard tire size (not Goodyear, not Bridgestone, not Goodrich--only Michelin and Cooper).
