Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • New but liking it - 2008 Ford F-150

Still new but I like the look and feel of this truck. Towed the snowmobiles and hauled them fine. Doesnt have the get up and go like my old Titan, but the Titan was proving to be a repair nightmare and seemed like something was always wrong with it.

  • Think Again - 2004 Ford F-150

After I bought it, I loved it. However, there were rear end problems twice, then the drive shaft, now the rear end again. I have babied this thing and it cant seem to handle simply driving down the road. It is a 4x4, but I dont trust the drivetrain enough to do anything with it. The engine also makes alot of noise, but Ford said this is normal due to 5W-20 oil. I would look elsewhere if I were you.

  • Pleasantly surprised - 2008 Ford F-150

After having exceptional luck with my first F150 (98 4x4 that is still going strong), as well as after test driving a Tundra, Silverado, and Dodge, I decided to get another F150. I went with a fully loaded, every option (minus sunroof) 08 FX4 as I didnt see enough difference in 09 to warrant the extra $ for the 09. Ive read some reviews about poor power, and Ive always felt the F150 lacked the "get up and go" of the Chevy, but Ive been very surprised that this truck has loads of power and very nice throttle response. The interior (black leather) is really nice and the truck is super quiet. Very comfortable, great power, very solid! Other trucks were nice, but Im glad I got the FX4.

  • Still wowed! - 2009 Ford F-150

Ok well I wrote a review 12-6-08 see wow! And now I have 11,400 miles and still love it!! I have been driving quite frequently out to Ohio for work (thats the reson for high mileage) and I am averaging 17.3 with that 5.4 and 6 speed, the best powertrain combo. My friends 5.7 Tundra does not "control" the trailer the way my truck does. Aside from a Super Duty, no other trucks pulls as smartly as this one does. I cannot say enough about the brakes and the handling and ride quality. It is as solid and bank vault like as my moms 07 S-Class. I still have my 05 FX-4 with 90,000 miles and It rocks, not one problem, issue, or hiccup from it. This one will be as great because it is a Ford!

  • Still the best! - 2015 Ford F-150
    By -

I have owned three F150s and my 2015 is the best. After 22 thousand miles in all kinds of conditions my truck has not disappointed me. Not once. The handling, comfort, and fuel economy remain excellent. I will repeat what I said in my first review. Ford simply knows how to build pickups. I doubt I will ever drive anything other than a Ford F-150 unless it is a F-250.

  • Built to last - 1990 Ford F-150
    By -

My dad bought this car back in 1995 from my grandfathers work. He paid I think 3000 for it with 175,000 miles. Its now 2009 has 300,800 miles and it still runs strong. The 4x4 still works great the paint has no clear coat fading or splitting. Nothing has been changed besides starter battery and maintenance otherwise its all original. Its not the prettiest but definitely not the ugliest. Its well worth your money to buy one and it will last forever.

  • Beautiful Truck - 2005 Ford F-150

I knew I wanted this truck before I left the dealers lot. The ride is unmatched. I bought a 2001 Toyota Tundra and thought it couldnt get any better. This truck says it can.

  • Still satisfied even with problems - 2005 Ford F-150

Used for on and off road and towing utility trailer and 26camper. Have had rear end clutch packs replaced, the front end 4x4 actuator replaced twice, the right side lower ball joint twice and now at 67000km/40000mi the transmission blew leaving me 600 miles from the nearest Ford dealer at a remote Outfitters lodge. I have nothing but praise for my dealer who has listened to my problems and fixed them and I am thankful I bought 84months/75000mi of extended warranty when I bought the truck. Fuel economy is just a little better than my 1996 F-150 with a 302 V8

  • Overall a solid truck.... - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

Im at 2800 miles and so far so good. No build/quality problems at all. Very comfortable ride, quiet cabin. Rear end gets "bouncy" and sometimes feels unstable over rough roads/broken pavement, otherwise the ride is good. Engine is solid and smooth. Limited interior storage with audiophile system. Ford should be embarrassed with these dinky floor mats on a truck. The captains chairs are comfortable but I wish they had more lateral support.

  • Very well thought out - 2009 Ford F-150
    By -

I am a woman who likes trucks, so I just bought a 09 F150. I was shocked at the redesigned interior, they actually put an in dash ashtray and lighter back into an American made vehicle. I am a heavy smoker, and use my vehicle for my business everyday. It beats having to use a small cup for putting out my cigarettes. Thanks Ford.
