Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Im lovin it - 2009 Ford F-150
By timbo - February 16 - 1:00 amBeyond the beautiful re-designed interior and exterior, this truck rides like a Cadillac. The inside is huge with its extra 6" theyve added to to the cab. Much more space that my Escape. It looks burly, and it hauls. I havent towed anything yet but I look forward to it. I can tell this thing is a beast but is easy on gas considering the size of it. I look forward to years of ownership on this baby. I seriously love it

Best Truck Ive had - 1993 Ford F-150
By stress369 - February 14 - 6:00 pmIve always been a GM guy. Well I have now changed my mind. This is a great truck, lots of pep! The get up and go coming from the 5.0 is great. The only thing that I do not like is how much lower it sets than its GM counterpart.

Original Owner, Great Value Truck - 1997 Ford F-150
By Bad da Bingg - February 12 - 8:56 pmI bought the 4.6 L V8 4x4 XLT when our kids were just small enough to fit easily in the extended cab. Now that theyre grown and gone, the truck keeps on doing truck duty. Those are boat hauling, camping, motorcycle transport and skiing. This truck has needed brakes and shocks but nothing else beyond routine maintenance. I look at newer trucks and laugh at the pricing and fuel efficiency, my truck still compares nicely.

Bad Tranny - 1999 Ford F-150
By chuck - February 12 - 7:54 pmThis is a well designed and solid built truck. Every thing is tight and working well after ten years. The only problem and it is a big problem is the transmission had the famous Ford shudder when trying to lock up. I have bought two new Ford SUVs but after this I will not buy another Ford after such a fatal flaw. If you have not had the shudder yet, it is coming.

Difference between Silverado and Ford F150 - 2017 Ford F-150
By Frank - February 11 - 10:21 pmLet me first say that Im not a truck guy. I rented a car in Orlando and was given a Silverado for 2 weeks. I throughly enjoyed the truck. The instrumentation was simple to figure out and the rearview camera was huge. The ride was very comfortable and the front seats were very roomy although the backseat space was too tight. Parking is difficult due to the size. A week later I was given a Ford F150 for a week. WOW what a difference! The Ford was cheap feeling and looking inside. It took a masters degree to figure out the instrumentation. The back up camera was minuscule and useless. The truck was easier to maneuver then the Silverado and the backseat room was huge. Even with these pluses it the Silverado features and ride far out weight the Ford F150.

Last One - 2002 Ford F-150
By shumate1819 - February 11 - 4:54 pmAbsoulutely the worst truck Ive owned, two transmissions and one transfer case. Interior seats are not comfortable. Sliding cupholder broke the week I bought it. Ive had nothing but trouble. Even the blinkers work only when they want to. Ive owned Chevys and Dodges and this is the worst. Ive only owned it for a little over two years. I can only imagine what I would have done if it was new.

Love Hate - 2004 Ford F-150
By tripht - February 10 - 11:50 pmI am a fan of Ford and I do enjoy my F150. However there has been some short cuts in the engineering of this truck. Ive had issues with the window motors, warped exhaust manifolds, replacing brake rotors after 42K and the rear end binding around corners. However Ive towed my boat from Seattle to Page, AZ and back with no problems.

Best truck ever owned - 2009 Ford F-150
By AL - February 7 - 10:53 amI have owned Chevy, Dodge, and this is my third Ford. This is the finest truck ever owned. I am 6 ft 3 and over 300 lbs and this is the most comfortable vehicle ever owned. Great handling and ride. Good looking vehicle also. Ford really did it on this one. My wife who doesnt care for trucks comments on how quiet it is in the cabin at highway speeds. Love this truck

Build Ford Tough! - 1990 Ford F-150
By Aaron - February 7 - 10:01 amI inherited this truck from my grandfather after he passed away. I got it in 2005 and it had less than 50k miles on it. It just now hit 93k. It had been babied until I got it and since has been used as a daily driver. I would say that this is a highly reliable truck. Mine has the 4.9L I-6 in it, which is the better motor. Although it is not easy on the gas, better than the V8 though, and alittle underpowered for serious hulling and highway use, it is a great everyday, in-town driver. Mine is in great shape, and only recently starting to show rust. I still have people checking my truck out and commenting on how nice it is. They dont build them like that anymore! A+ Ford!
