Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

My first Ford - 2005 Ford F-150
By Steve - February 26 - 5:33 pmIve been a Mercedes-Benz and Honda guy for more than 10 years, but I was in the market for a low budget full-size pickup truck. The leasing incentives offered by Ford drew me into the dealership, but in the end Im also thrilled with the product. Its incredibly comfortable, quiet and easy to drive. Whats more, I was surprised with the fuel economy, as I logged 17.2 mpg on only the second tank of driving. I wouldnt put much faith in other Ford products, but its pretty obvious the F-150 is the companys crown jewel, and I will consider another when this lease ends.

Built Ford Tough - 2008 Ford F-150
By Lee L. - February 25 - 7:50 pmIve owned Dodge trucks all my life. Theyve been great but I wanted a change. I looked at Dodge, Ford and Chevy. Im glad I chose the Ford. I pull an 8000lb. trailer and it handles it surprisingly well for a 1/2 ton truck. The Dodge and Chevy definitely have more "get up" but the Ford pulls very well. Interior is definitely plush and the exterior is very sharp, especially with the 20" wheels and two-tone paint. Im very happy with the truck.

Stop thinking about it and just buy one! - 2009 Ford F-150
By Vinny F - February 22 - 1:15 pmI cant say enough good things about this truck. I love it. I parked it next to my friends 05 FX4 and mine was about 3 inches taller. This is a beefy truck. As big as it is, I get great gas mileage. I plan to install a K&N intake which should up my mileage another 10% or so. I took all of the truck leaders for a test drive, some had more flashy interiors and some had a softer ride, but Ford offered the best overall mix of refinement, capability, and fun. For the money, there is nothing better.

Solid Truck - 1994 Ford F-150
By safetymike - February 21 - 2:53 pmBought new. Has 232,000 miles, mostly over gravel, on the 302. Replaced brakes and master cylinder at 160,000. Dealer wants me to trade in, but the truck still runs great! Burns no oil! Typical squeaks and rattles for this amount of miles.

Ford owner-cars and trucks - 2008 Ford F-150
By Stoney - February 21 - 11:52 amMy family and sons only use Fords and that goes back more than 40 years. The F150 seems to ride better and gets better gas mileage than the posted numbers. Could be the light foot to get more miles per gallon and no major repairs I recall.

I love this truck - 2003 Ford F-150
By Josh Price - February 20 - 10:00 amAlthough the title is different then what I actually own, I own a 1997 and just to put my two cents in, this truck is now 5 years old. There are no words to describe this truck. Everything about it I love! Its equipped with a 5.4L so I have no problem towing trailers and such. The only problem I have is that the Off-Road Package seats are stiff, but then again its an Off- Road Style. You get what you pay for and what I paid for was well worth the time and money!

Scotts review - 2004 Ford F-150
By Greatskott1 - February 16 - 10:00 amThis is the best truck ever built. Ive owned or my company has owned 5 different trucks in the past 15 years and this one makes the rest of them, including my 2001 F-250 Powerstroke Diesel 4x4 to shame in quality and design. It makes my Chevys look like crap. If you want a REAL truck, buy the F-150.

Try It You Will Love It - 2006 Ford F-150
By REBEL - February 16 - 1:53 amWe just purchased another FX4 because we loved the 2002 we had. We find that the vehicle rides as nice as any car and we need it to tow our 27 foot trailer with all our toys, whether its snow mobiles or 4 wheelers. There is plenty of power and the gas mileage is decent. The interior is roomy because we have the super crew model and everything is easily accessible from the drivers seat.
