Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Update- read before you buy! - 2009 Ford F-150
By dvick - May 4 - 10:36 amPreviously wrote a review. HEres the bottom line. Love most things about the truck, but heres my beefs after 1,000 miles (Platinum Version)- I have a very bad back and initially thought the seats would be comfortable, but between the fact that the steering wheel is such a long reach once seat and pedals adjusted all the way to the floor, and because the top of the seat tilts forward, it is not comfortable at all for more than 5 minutes- to 99% of people, this would be no problem. Also, the steering wheel has two problems- if youre tall like me (61"), your knees will hit the back of the steering wheel, kind of aggravating. This thing desperately needs telescopic wheel. Mileage in town 14

my truck - 2006 Ford F-150
By steve - May 1 - 11:13 amThis is my first Ford. V-6 auto is weak. Empty bed is bouncy over even small bumps. As I drive 99% of the time with an empty bed, the current suspension is not my thing. Good smooth highway ride though, and quiet. Backup sensor was worth the buck. Never buy one again with manual windows and door lock. I thought I will never lower the window but what a hassle going through the toll booth.

old to new - 2009 Ford F-150
By homer simpson - April 30 - 8:45 pmWell my 1985,302,fi, finally went to help some concrete from falling down (sadness). But alass i have found another truck to love for 300000 miles. The power when punched with the H.O. 4.6 is surprizing. It will cause ur wallet to empty at the tire store. The inside is a great update from my old tank. the sound from the 6 cd sirrus radio is beautiful. the seats are comfortable and the room is big enough for a dead body with the back seats up. the outside styling is another reason to buy this truck. the new styled tailgate that weighs half of the 85s and the chrome grill is an eye catcher. The new alloy wheels are another great update. I compare it to my 85 but the wife drives an 05 4dr.

All trucks compromise this one does best - 2009 Ford F-150
By CWD in AR - April 30 - 2:50 pmThe new 6-speed automatic takes a little getting used to, since the first 3 gears are spaced so close together (3rd gear by 20 mph). But it allows for better fuel mileage and towing, so its worth it. Yes, as the other reviews have mentioned the stationary head rest takes some getting used to, but its rarely an issue. Very smooth ride, quiet, and stylish. The Lariat interior (spring for the captains chairs with the floor shift) is very, very nice. There are so many little features that add to the comfort of this truck that youll still be discovering (and appreciating) them a few weeks in. Give it a test drive, youll be surprised how nice it is.

Best Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By irelandn2000 - April 29 - 10:00 amI have had 2 Lightnings an 01 and a 03 both have been problem free and a joy to own. If you like room but have a need for speed this is the truck for you. The seats fit perfect to your body and the ride is not rough at all. I love to take long trips in the truck, once you get in you dont want to get out.

Love my 2003 F-150 - 2003 Ford F-150
By Dave Gearhart - April 29 - 10:00 amThe 2003 F-150 XL supercab is a heck of a nice truck. The 4.2 V6 while not being overpowered does everything I want it to do. Plenty of pep when you need it. I purchased it in June of 2003 and got a terrific buy. With the factory rebaits and the dealer being highly movated to deal, I ended up paying $4500.00 under factory invoice. Sweet deal for a XL model.

2008 Ford F150 - 2008 Ford F-150
By KatDaddy - April 28 - 12:06 pmTo Whom It May Concern: RE: 2008 Ford F150 Supercrew (Vibration start at 55/60 mph) We purchased this truck February 17, 2009 without a test drive. On Saturday, February 21, 2009, took truck for the vibration to Classic Ford, sat for 4 hours, then was told to come back Friday, February 27. On that day, Friday, 2/27, they “road forced” balanced the tires and was there for 5 ½ hours. Went back on March 3, 2009, they told me they put 4 different, new tires on the truck and balanced them and was there for 7 ½ hours more. Went back on March 6, 2009, they “re-balanced” my tires and told to come back Monday, March 9, 2009..that day, they “forced balanced” the tires again. Then I was told o
