Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

excellent - 2000 Ford F-150
By doris - November 23 - 1:09 pmThis truck is beast!! It has pulled a 2wd ford off the beach that was stuck. Its drifted around corners, hit junk, been hit by junk, drove through mud holes and anything else I ask it to do and its done all this without ever even being close to getting stuck or getting damaged cosmetically. I havent had to do anything but change the oil and it keeps destroying every challenge I give it. Try all that with a Ram 1500, you will be stuck spinning wheels in less than an hour.

I like it, I love it, cant get enough of it! - 2017 Ford F-150
By Adaasanchez@yahoo.com - November 22 - 2:10 amIt had always been a dream of mine to own a truck. When I stepped into the F-150 I knew this was my truck. We bought the v8 version with 385hp and 387 ft lbs of torque. We recently went on a trip and averaged 22mpg. As a father, I love the great crash ratings. My family is protected. It is a great overall truck.

Great truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By Trayscool - November 21 - 9:57 amGot my truck used with 50K miles and now has 70K. No problems thus far and runs great. The front seats are very comfortable and there is plenty of room in the rear, like a limo. I tow a 7000 boat with no problems and plenty of power. The factory stereo is very nice. Wish the gas mileage was a little better but with a big V8 that is what you can expect. My parents have one with 150K on it and o problems as well

Excellent Truck - 2009 Ford F-150
By Jay in Dallas - November 20 - 7:41 pmI traded in my 2006 F-150 Lariat 4X2 for this 2009 Lariat 4X4. After about 2000 miles, I love the new truck. It handles very well for its size. Plenty of power. Fit and finish are excellent. The only thing I dont like is the shifting of the automatic - a bit unpredictable. My old F-150 had the 4-speed auto while this one is the 6-speed auto - very different. My 2006 had zero defects and Im expecting the same from this one.

No Buyers Remorse - 2001 Ford F-150
By shovel77 - November 20 - 10:00 amI have owned over 50 cars and trucks in my life and this is the only purchase with NO buyers remorse. I like everything about this pickup. And I especially love the real saddle leather seats. With 20,000 trouble free miles under my belt, this is by far the most pleasurable car/truck that I have ever owned. Just a bit diappointed with the limited color choices though. Would prefer a lighter color (mine is dark blue).

Harley Heaven - 2001 Ford F-150
By BadRon - November 20 - 10:00 amThis will be my third F150 and Ford finally got it right this time! The Harley F150 Crew Cab is a great looking truck and truly fun to drive. My wife keeps trying to steal it. The only draw back is when you go out for a drive you end up attracting a crowd.

Disappointed with Dealer/Ford HQ - 2006 Ford F-150
By Will - November 20 - 7:09 am19K miles and vehicle stalls. Had it brought in to dealer in Lafayette, said no problem existed. 3 months later, vehicle stalls and towed back to dealer. Fuel Pump, Fuel Regulator all need to be replaced. Informed my Service Manager that is normal wear/tear for fuel pump and regulator. $1500 to replace. Called Ford, no help. Once out shop, vehicle start problems. Im so MAD. Ridiculous pump going out, and I average 5k miles per year. Was told that was the reason for pump failing, lack of driving. So if you buy a Ford, ask how long its been on lot, so say the fuel pump/regulators go out if they sit

Still Love it after two years. - 2007 Ford F-150
By Alan - November 19 - 3:53 pmTwo years and almost 30,000 miles later, Im still lovin my Lariat. The interior is great with the heated seats, auto dimming mirrors and the climate control. Ive been hunting in some pretty rugged terrain, climbed a couple of very steep hills off-road and it does very well in 4 wheel drive. Ive come back with Nevada Pin- Stripe down both sides and I just polish them out with Clear Coat Scratch Remover. My tires are about 1/2 worn, brakes have little wear and no problems. I cant gripe one bit about this truck its about as good as it gets. my wife loves it too. I have high hopes that my Lariat will be as good a vehicle as my 1984 Bronco II was after 10 years and 150,000 miles.

Water Leaks - 2006 Ford F-150
By Old Dog - November 13 - 3:05 amIf you are reading this and havent checked, pull back your carpet in the front and see if its wet, mine was soaked! After a recent heavy storm, I had to use a shop vac to pull the water out of the channels holding the wiring harness under the kick plates at the entrance to both driver and passenger doors. Ive read where these king cabs have a big problem with water leaks that may go un- noticed until you start smelling mildew. The third brake light has a history of leaking on most years of these trucks. The water runs down channels from the light toward the front floorboard soaking everything underneath. Also, there have been other reports of the air conditioning condensor vent leaking
