Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

XChev, Mistake or Not? - 2003 Ford F-150
By Gruff - February 28 - 10:00 amI have had Chevys since 1967 used to be a Ford man. Chevy wouldnt give me a good trade in so I went to Ford. I like my new truck but have found somethings wrong. Work men ship is a little bad. Seat belt put installed backward, Pedal adjustment missing, Read door out of adjustment, gap on dash board on drivers side and no tinted windshield. . All in all I like the truck, just have to get used to driving a Ford.

a few details....... - 2004 Ford F-150
By Trucker Bob - February 23 - 10:16 amThe 2WD Lariat F150 2004 model is great. A few details and it woud be perfect. Needs more interior storage, pockets, etc, the center console is just a single huge area without any dividers. No underseat storage either. Otherwise great, mileage ok, but not great; 14 in town 16 - 17 on the road. Pretty good for a heavy pickup. Acceleration good, not great though. Handling is great, brakes also great. Tires ok, Goodrich Long Trails. Interior design very good. BUT, wheres the cassette player?

teenagers dream truck - 1997 Ford F-150
By hunter green xlt 4x4 - February 14 - 10:00 amI bought this truck used with 88000 miles because it was a great buy and it was the truck of my dreams. Im 17 years old and the Ford XLT 4X4 with its Triton v-8 was all I needed to make my senior year awsome. Hunter green exterior and gray interior, it looks and runs great! Gas mileage? What gas mileage! I put Flowmasters on it and next Buckshot tires.Look out mudholes. This truck is a teenagers dream so far!

The best truck I have ever owned - 2006 Ford F-150
By frank - February 12 - 12:26 pmI have had several trucks. This one is the best. There is no comparison to a Chevy Silverado. It handles, runs, drives and corners much better. The fuel economy is great. I average 22 MPG on the freeway with the a/c on. The truck is very quiet inside while driving at 75 and above. It feels like you are sitting in your living room on the freeway even at high speeds; you dont feel bumps. Off road, it cant be beat. It never gets stuck in sand. Living in the desert, I see a lot of sand. The truck takes it like you are on a city street. I have recommended the F150 to several friends and they love them also. Overall, this is by far the best truck on the road. It cant be beat.

drive train vibratin 3 valve knockn junk - 2005 Ford F-150
By David Quinn - February 10 - 2:00 pmIve been a loyal Ford brand buyer since 65; 23 units to date. My new 150 SuperCab 5.4 is a drivetrain vibrating 3 valve knocking nightmare. The dealer has had the vehicle on three separate occasions with excuses that started with the tires and now says a counter balance is needed to reduce (?) the vibration. I do not care if they changed driveshaft vendors and are having problems. I want a drivetrain that turns true. Period! The new 3 valve setup runs rougher than corn cob. The dealer blames it own Mother Ford and says the techies have not come up with a patch for the computer program that runs the darn thing without disturbing the tranny. I am in shock, mourning and complete disbelief.

Sweet Ride - 2004 Ford F-150
By guruvy - February 4 - 10:00 amFirst-time truck owner; dont see myself going back. The baseline truck I was loaned is disappointing compared to my vehicle with the extra options. Interior, two-tone grey with captains cloth looks great. Plenty of room, and storage; like the extra cup holders. Dont have much to go on, but the handling is responsive with an excellent turning radius; easy to manuever; truck drives itself. No disappointments, so far.
