Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Vibration problems immediately after picking vehicle up from showroom. May be a drive shaft/tire problem. No solution yet.

I like my Ford F-150 XLT; the comfort and the driving (handling). This does not feel like a truck when you are in it. I am glad I stuck with ford

Absolutely the finest machine Ive owned....It impresses me more than my first new car, (1967 390 Mustang GT ), which I thought could never be matched in quality ,or, guts. Ford put their heart and soul into this one!

For the 3 months I have owned this vehicle, I have been extremely pleased.I got what I payed for and then some. Operating noise levels are great! I have taken several long distance trips (8 hours) and it does great on the highway with excellent comfort.I can get 18 mpg highway. 20 mpg with tailgate down.City driving definitely sucks the fuel.It handels well in mountainous, curvy driving.(Blue ridge mountains) It grabs the road and you dont feel any swaying on sharp turns. This is a great buy!

  • My 2 cents!!! - 2003 Ford F-150

The only real complaint I have about this truck is the comfort of the 40/60 bench seats. I have always gotten the bucket seats and thought I would try the bench, wish I hadnt. Also because of the 40/60 there is not as much storage for stuff in the center console/fold down apparatus. I would definitely recommend the truck, but with bucket seats! Reliability has been great as with all Ford trucks I have owned. Build quality is outstanding.

If poor engineering, fake specifications, bad customer service from the dealership and no help from the corporate office is what you desire then welcome home to Ford! My 2016 F-150 struggles to pull my bass boat, dry weight only 2400 pds, up sharp inclines. Short on-ramps on the interstate are a special treat. Hitting the breaks to a dead stop before being killed is something you should be prepared for with this one. Its a pooch and not going to haul anything except a few bags of groceries home or a some trash bags to the dump in back. Totally worthless hauler no matter what the specs say. The favorable reports here are more than likely plants, Ford employees or both. Run like a scalded dog to Chevy or Dodge if you want a real truck. Ford F-150 is a toy, nothing more.

  • My best truck ever - 2005 Ford F-150

After owning 5 different Ford F150 pickups during the past 21 years, this is without a doubt the finest truck I have ever owned. Overall performance is unequaled, it is as quiet and comfortable as a car, and it is also as tough and solid as a brick. Simply put... the truck is exquisite!

  • LOVE My New Truck - 2016 Ford F-150

Let me just say that I grew up in a Chevy household and I previously owned and loved my Ram. When it came time to replace my 00 Ram 1500 I was positive that I would be buying a new Ram truck. My husband convinced me to drive the new F150. I found both an F150 and the Ram 1500 online at my local dealers, both had comparable options and pricing and I scheduled the test drives for the same night. At the end of the night my mind was easily made up. I went back the next day and bought the Ford F150 Lariat FX4. I am in LOVE with this truck. The quality of the interior is superior, the handling is amazing, both when I am towing and when Im not. The cab is super quiet, the ride is great, especially for a truck and it drives like a truck. I like that. It does not drive like some oversized car. I have the 2.7l V6, and gas mileage is better then I expected. I get about 15-16 mixed driving and 19-20 highway. I live in Southern California where we base travel on time not distance, because traffic here sucks, so Im pretty impressed. LOL! The truck has enough power to get out of its own way, nice acceleration getting on the highway, but handy enough to mange the traffic and get in and out of the parking garages. I purchased the Super-Crew Cab and there is more then enough room in the back for my 64" son. The back seat floor is flat, so when you fold the seats up you have a ton of room to transport items that you might not want to toss in the bed. I have the 501A package and all the options included in that are fantastic. I love the remote start and keyless entry. I did have the dealer install running boards. Even as tall as I am (59"), I didnt want to break down the edge of the drivers seat climbing in and out. Overall I love this truck and would recommend to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

  • Great truck! - 2005 Ford F-150

Over all the truck is fantastic, offering a lot of room and plenty of options. It is with out a doubt the best ride Ive ever gotten out of a truck. I do think that Ford could have gotten a lot more out of that 4.6L V8 than they did. Specs rate it at around 230 HP, which I found surprising. But it still has plenty of power for every day driving and hauling needs. Fuel economy could be better, but with a large v-8 like that it actually performs really well in that department. I have gotten 20 MPG for highway use and average between 12-15 for city.
