Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

A truck that still knows how to work - 2004 Ford F-150
By compaqted - September 5 - 10:00 amThe new F-150 is a fantastic vehicle. So was my 92 F-150, but this new model has a tremendous ride, smooth powerful powertrain, and very comfortable interior, even in the XL trim. But the best thing about it is that Ford didnt forget that a truck has to work. It is beefy in all the right areas, like the bed and the frame, and tows very well, especially with the limited slip rear axle option and the towing package option (highly recommended). Great job Ford!

Surprisingly high quality! - 2005 Ford F-150
By Shinbo - September 2 - 2:43 amThis was my very first truck that I have ever purchased. After researching and test driving all the competitors (Silverado, Ram, Tundra), I have absolutely no regrets about buying an F-150. The body style is attractive and burly. Ride is quite comfortable, and the overall quality just surpasses everything that I was expecting.

2015 F150 New Purchase - 2015 Ford F-150
By Jeff Bruce - August 31 - 6:01 amTried all major brands of 1/2 ton trucks. Ford is annoyingly quiet, VERY quick, and as comfortable as your favorite chair. Im 63" and back seat has more room than many midsized car front seats. Have had truck for 8-months. It has been in the shop for a couple of weeks. Seems the transmission pump for the Auto on/off feature was faulty. Dealership had a problem finding/fixing issue. Also, hit a deer. People concerned about the aluminum body, it stood up just fine. Deer broke out grill, and bumper. Truck didnt crumple like a soda can as many feared.

Very happy with my F150 - 2004 Ford F-150
By dave - August 26 - 8:10 pmThis is my third F150 and the best of them all. Its never been back to the dealership once since Ive owned it and not so much as a fray in the seats has shown up yet. My only complaint, if it really is a legit one, is the gas mileage. Its a full size truck and gets about 15 mpg at best most days and I assume thats about right for this. My first F150 was a 90 with a straight six and a stick and was getting around 20 mpg, but hey a v8 with automatic in a truck this size is gonna use more gas right?

2005 F150 SuperCab 4x4 4.6L - 2005 Ford F-150
By Rick - August 22 - 1:50 pmIve owned 3 Audis in the past and this truck trumps them in ride comfort and quietness. Ive put 3,000 miles on it so far (Michigan winter) and am amazed on how stable it rode in snowy/icy conditions. No squeaks or rattles of any kind either. Ford spent a lot of money on developing this truck and it shows.

dream - 2005 Ford F-150
By Erik J - August 14 - 3:00 pmI have always wanted such a truck . I was very impressed with the design, comfort and performance . I voided the warranty the first year with 37,000 miles. I was nervous at first but two years later and another 30,000 miles I am still impressed. Even a minor accident was fairly priced to fix.The ultimate family truckster. I use it for everyday, camping trips and small loads so far. I even pulled my friends 30 foot boat out of the lake (mud season) with ease. As it gets older it will be working harder. A must for the famly man with a house.

Buy this thing already - 2004 Ford F-150
By clifford - August 11 - 2:00 amExcellent balance of power and grace. This truck rides like a dream and looks great. Guages are very nice, seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room in there. Have not pulled anything yet, but power and tourque seem to be more than adaquete.

Best Full size working truck Ive owned - 1999 Ford F-150
By bruceglenn@yandex.com - August 10 - 4:54 pmThe company purchased a 1999 F-150 off lease in 2000 with 42k miles on it. Cost 20k at the time about 6 off retail pricing. Yes a little high miles but it felt like good solid truck... 237,500 miles less the original miles the truck has been great abet not perfect but all in all Im very happy with its performance all of these years. The 5.4 has had no. 8 coil fail twice and # 7 coil failed recently due to a small leak on the head gasket. The fuel pump, left front wheel bearing, one alternator, one starter, one battery, has burned a little oil through its life up to one quart every 3500 mile oil change. The brakes are not the best when cold and need to be slowly warmed up to stop correctly, they have a tendency to lock up if cold. The engine and transmission are perfect I dont remember the axle ratio but its a smooth ride amazing fast when need to punch it...This truck get loaded to the gills and runs perfectly...Interior driver seat of course tore, dash lights burn out, odometer stop working so I sent it in for repairs 100 bucks later reinstalled...Paint is getting ruff after 17 years and one really lousy Auto paint guy... The new trucks are too tall for contractors to work out off unless your 66" tall..Im 58" ....In 2004 ford added# 500 plus pounds to a half ton truck ? FTW.... Dumb ....engineering design IMO.. Im looking for a 2003 last model of this truck with 135K or less miles ....Do you have one?

Service Advance Traq - 2015 Ford F-150
By Gary B. - August 8 - 9:31 amI purchased a F150 at the end of the year ( 2015 ) and got a great deal . About two weeks ago my truck was going 45 mph and then locked up and would go no faster then 10 mph . I turned it off and everything seem to be ok for a couple of weeks . Then it happened again and I was almost re ended . I had to drive all the way home at 10 mph . The truck lurches back and forth with the truck screen say Service Advance Traq . This truck is dangerous . It is currently at the dealer and they have determine that the throttle assembly is broken . I think it is many other problems . This is all computer related . The part is on back order ,,,, whatever that means . After the first month the truck started making engine noise and is very weak with not much pickup . The rpms rev up and the truck hardly moves . The A/C is lousy as well , It doesnt seem to work all the time . Back doors are also annoying to open and close . I had a Tundra for 8 years and I needed to get a new truck for my business . I replaced the A/C fan , tires and brakes and that s it . I had 140,000 miles on it . I needed something reliable , this Ford is a huge mistake . I paid 38k for this pile of junk . It lasted a whole 6000 miles . Im currently in a rental Ford Escape , Im so upset .
