Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • I am glad I made this choice - 2003 Ford F-150

I had a 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 2wd and traded it in for this new truck. The best choice that I made as far as a vehicle purchase, I know understand why Ford has the best selling truck.

Great truck. I did special order this truck, so I have every thing I wanted. The engine is strong 5.4l 3v 300 hp. Put after market muffler on truck, even runs stronger, canÂ’t wait till it breaks in at about 9,000miles. Great in snow. Paint job could be better; itÂ’s not bad but IÂ’ve seen better.

I love my Lightning. I recommened anybody even vaguely considering one to go out and drive one. There is not another vehicle that is any sort of comparison to the driving fun of this vehicle. I would not trade my truck for anything, except for maybe a Porche or or somthing like that. There is nothing else on the road that does what these do, and there is so much customization that can be done. Ford definitely got this one right.

  • F150 4x4 4.6L - 2004 Ford F-150
    By -

Just bought it last week and only have 300 miles logged but I am enjoying this vehical. I just traded in a Grand Marquis with a performance package so even though they both have 4.6L engines the F150 doesnt accelerate nearly as well(it is also dragging around a 4x4 driveline though) but is just as quiet on the highway and "thats impressive".

  • The Best Ive Ever Had - 2002 Ford F-150
    By -

I really like this truck. I have owned many trucks, including other Fords and different brands, and my feelings are that Ford has always given me a better sense of trust and solidarity than any other manufacturer. I am pleased with this truck. My previous trucks have always been big V8s and with this truck only having the 4.2L V6, I had a low level of concern that it would prove to be kind of weak, however it has never disappointed me. A solid truck thats eager go everyday. This one and I may spend many happy years together.

  • Worst car Ive owned - 2016 Ford F-150

Drove off the lot with vibration. Dealer said normal even though its obviously not. Bought an angle finder and found 4.5 degree working angle for transaxle-to-driveshaft and .5 degree working angle at pinion-to-driveshaft. Working angles should be 1 degree at least or youll wear out u-joints. Working angles should be within 1 degree or youll have vibration. While trying to get that fixed, 5.0 engine developed a tick at idle and a clacking sound in the passenger side valvetrain. All of this and I have 2,200 miles on a brand new truck. Dealer today argued it all drives and sounds normal, of course. Run as fast as you can from the F-150. They are not what they used to be. In fact, this is my third new Ford since 2013 and theyve been nothing but headaches. 28 years of driving Fords since age 16. Today, done with Ford for good. Their cars are junk now.

  • Replaces the family car - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

This truck is great for family vacations, or grocery shopping or going anywhere. I have the one with the top that covers the bed and i love it. It makes the truck look sportier and compares with an Avalanche. This vehicle replaces my minivan, yet i can haul anything I need to besides kids. It is also safer in an accident, in that I feel all passengers are safer.

  • Excellent Truck - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

I bought this truck after my son started driving my Ranger; overall it is a great truck. I compared F150 with the Ram and Silverado and this one came out top. Very comfortable on trips. The engine is very loud and can get annoying.

  • New Experience with Ford - 2017 Ford F-150

Im constantly surprised by how much I enjoy my F150 truck. It has the power and comfort that makes it a pleasure to drive.

  • best truck ever - 2004 Ford F-150
