Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

The car itself exhibits incredible performance and handling. What else would you expect from a V8 pumping out upwards of 400hp. Dodges SRT-10 on the ram will run this one into the ground most certainly.

I have had all the major pickup brands in the past 10 years. I went through them all. This has to be the best pickup I have ever purchased. Its amazing, In and out amazing. I cant even think of what more to say. Power, comfort, pull, style, quality, I mean quality. The 2004 Ford F150 is so tight its tailpipe could pop out diamonds if coal was its fuel. Good Job Ford, I am thinking that the leader in sales is about to go far passed the competitors.. Unreal! Joseph Donato

The 2005 FX4 F-150 is the best truck out on the market. The power from the 5.4 triton is amazing and the overall style is great. I have not had any problems with it and i am very happy with my purchase.

  • Great Truck - 2005 Ford F-150

This is a great truck. It is very quiet inside at freeway speeds and the ride is very smooth for a truck. There is a perceived lack of power, but its a truck that weighs something like 6,000 pounds, not a sports car. Same thing with gas mileage, a heavy truck, but it gets better mileage than the 2003 Land Rover Discovery that I had, so Im not complaining.

  • My First Car - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

I am 16 and this is my first car/truck. Because I am 16 I had a lot of shopping to do and there is no doubt that I made the right decision. For a truck its size it has GREAT fuel economy. I get 17mpg in the city and almost 26 on the highway -- its amazing. I used to hate ford cars but there is no doubt that they have the BEST trucks.

  • Luxury Vehicle With A Bed - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

I didnÂ’t go to buy a King Ranch but when I sat in it I knew it was all over! Such a great ride and the attention to detail was just overwhelming! When you open all the windows and moon roof along with "power" rear window its like a rag top! Every thing gets a "10" with the exception of the gas mileage, but I knew that going in and itÂ’s really no problem because this truck is a dream to drive. And I have never heard a better sound system! If you want to turn heads and feel like a "king" then try and find a Ford f150 King Ranch and buy it!

  • King Ranch Long Bed - 2006 Ford F-150
    By -

I ordered my King Ranch Super Crew 4X2 with the optional 6.5 foot bed in the fall of 2005. I was concerned that the truck would be too long and look awkward, but was surprised when it was not. I had previously had two 2004 XLT models and had lots of problems with both of them. The 2006 model is like night and day. I have had no problems whatsoever with this new truck. Comfort, style, quietness and quality are all superb. Fuel economy is so so at 16.0 mpg and the performance is OK, but nothing to get excited about. But, what the heck, this is a large, and heavy vehicle, not a sports car. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend the King Ranch to anyone looking for a luxury truck.

  • top of the line - 2010 Ford F-150

This is a great truck. Inside and out, you cannot beat it. It is a nicer truck than anything else out there. I continually get thumbs up from people as I go down the road and always receive positive comments. Nice ride, great options and very comfortable. More power than my 2004 Lariat.

  • Overall best truck. - 2004 Ford F-150
    By -

Exceptional ride. Very comfortable but firm. Very quiet ride, no rattles or squeaks. The ride is so quiet it is easy to go too fast. 16 mpg combined city/highway so far with 3.73 gear. Great visability except behind the tailgate. Make sure you get the back up sensor because the tailgate sits high. Also get the BFGoodrich tires, they are all terrain but feel and sound like all season on the highway. Overall great truck.
