Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

King of the Ranch - 2001 Ford F-150
By UTDAD - February 16 - 10:00 amLove this truck! Yeah, I know. Its a truck not made for real workers. However, I can assure you that this truck can handle any workload. The 5.4 liter engine gives it plenty of pick up and towing capacity. I have towed thousands of pounds with the vehicle without a hiccup. I have even taken it to the city dump to unload construction trash. The roads were horrible and the truck seemed to relish every minute. Great thing is after all of the work, I wash it, maybe wax it, and I am ready to be one of the most stylish in town.

3rd Ford - 2004 Ford F-150
By Chevis - February 7 - 10:00 amThis is the 3rd Ford P/U I have owned in the last 20 years. Both of the older Fords are still being driven. The oldest is a 1980 with over 150000 miles on it and the 2nd had 205000 when traded for the "new" 2004 Ford. The new truck seems to have sufficient power to pull a boat/trailer, with a ride that matches many autos.

Most Comfortable Vehicle Ive Ever Owned - 2004 Ford F-150
By MickeyM - February 7 - 10:00 amLove the Lariat package with all the bells and whistles. Great looking truck and VERY comfortable. Smooth, quiet, roomy, good-looking, tough, and powerful will sum it all up. Im 63" and about 220lbs and these big seats fit like a glove with plenty of leg room. Even with the drivers seat all the way back, theres still plenty of room for most people in the back. Traded in a loaded Tacoma 4-dr on it, and WOW!!!! what a difference. I just thought I liked my Tacoma. Now, I know why the F-150 is the most popular truck made and the Tacoma is 2nd. GM and Dodge are not even on the same playing field.

Built Ford Tuff! - 2002 Ford F-150
By sturmtiger - February 6 - 11:46 amThis vehicle replaced a 93 Ranger that I also bought new. Love the 5.4 L V-8, it pulls our 24 ft Airstream camper with reserve plenty of reserve power. I like the aggressive styling of the FX4 package. i.e., the grille and 17" rims. Very comfortable when traveling, the 60/40 bench seating better than the captains chairs, IMHO.

Ford F-150 supercrew - 2002 Ford F-150
By Ryan75 - February 3 - 2:00 amI bought a new 03 and I love it. The only thing that I wish it had was more horsepower and better gas mileage. I have the 5.4L and I still think it needs like 50 more horsepower.

American Truck - 2003 Ford F-150
By OlDaag - January 29 - 10:00 amI finally decided I wanted 1) A truck and 2) Lots of power. Thats when I drove the Harley truck. Yeah baby! This thing has supercharged power like crazy, solid build, lots of cab room, (supercrew in 2003) lots of Harley Davidson styling, excellent chrome and Harley badged exterior and good quality leather and actual chromed steel interior. This truck gets lots of stares and plenty of "thumbs up" attention. American cool.(Harley and Ford: doesnt get much more American than THAT!) Pricey? Yep. But rest assured; you get what you pay for and every third truck on the road will not be the same as yours.
