Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Quits - 2004 Ford F-150
By Cat Woman - March 21 - 10:00 amWe have only driven our F150 for a month and other then the fact that the engine quits at stop signs and when turned corners slowly we love it. It has lots of power and rides smoothly. The backseat has plenty of room for the kids or small adults to ride. The doors for the back are a little ackward to use, the crew cabs is much more convenient. If they fixed the kill problem now after putting in a new fuel pump last week and a new computer this week then I will be happy with our new truck. If they didnt fix it then I will be very disapointed in this truck and mad about it all, not fun running it back and forth to be fixed, the dealership has been really nice though.

My First Ford Product - 1998 Ford F-150
By Ron Watson - March 19 - 2:00 amI bought this truck new in March ,1998. My first Ford product in over 30 years. What a delight! This truck has 65000 miles on it today, and other than oil changes, and filters (normal planned maintenance) I have only replaced the tires.

Nice looking truck but bad engines - 1998 Ford F-150
By Jvernon73 - March 16 - 8:18 amI like the looks of my Ford F-150 but Im experiencing what Ford calls piston slap and Ford would not do anything about it. I was told that the 97 -2000s with Windsor engines have some badly engineered pistons which causes them to slap against the cylinder walls when first started up. It sounds like the engine has a defective rod.

Platinum 3.5 twin turbo Supercrew 5.5 4x4 - 2016 Ford F-150
By Rambo - March 12 - 7:46 pmAmazing truck, went from Silverado LTZ to this truck. Just an absolute dream to drive. Engine is so powerful so far 188 miles on it, and its a beautiful piece of technology. The Platinum is the most superior of the packages, the limited is for those that use the truck as a luxury sedan, the platinum with the FX4 package is the ultimate luxury 4x4 truck. Its a pleasure to get in it, and drive it. Thanks Ford, for the great deal, and trade in, and one my best vehicle buying experiences in 25 yrs !! UPDATE: 11/2016 3,400 miles now, still an outstanding truck!! (Kenny Ross Ford South, Hint!)
