Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • Better Than My 2001 - 2005 Ford F-150

We decided to replace our old truck with the newer version. Wow, this thing is really neat. As a pilot, I know what a vehicle should do, and this one does what it says, including towing our Rinker Cabin Cruiser which weighs almost 10,000 lbs. It is very comfortable and rides better than most cars Ive been in. What can I say, it is awesome!

  • Not Satisfied - 2004 Ford F-150

My overall impression after driving this vehicle for 6 months and 10,000 miles is that it is not all that it is cracked up to be. The steering wheel maintains a slight tilt to the right even when on flat roads (The dealership cant find anything wrong).

  • BAD BRAKE ROTORS - 2004 Ford F-150
    By -

I have 3800 miles on 04 f-150 and my brake rotors are scared so bad Im worried about my wife driving the truck. Ford will not honor their warranty, they said thats normal. So every one check your front rotors. Also the truck idles bad, a/c blows hot air until you reset by turning off & on, and my radio/cd player volume raises & lowers by itself while driving. Whats next?

  • Got a Lemon but a nice truck otherwise - 2015 Ford F-150
    By -

Bought a new 2015 XLT 2.7 ecoboost for a great deal. 42250 MSRP and with 7K discount and 7K rebate paid 28K for this truck! First new vehicle in 27 years. Unfortunately it spent 33 days in the shop out of the first 90 days of owning it. It shut the engine off while driving 3 times. Now after 3 repairs attempts it shifts irregularly now and then. Great design and most have no issues but this one was just not one of those without problems. Highway mileage is awesome, acceleration if really great. Roominess cant be beat and the camera spoils you. I did not like the 8 inch screen that only uses 2 of the 4 boxes if you dont have navigation and climate control, kind of a waste. Ford bought my truck back after the CA lemon lawyer took care of handling it. Decided to stay with used vs new.

  • Ricks 04 - 2004 Ford F-150

This is my 2nd Lightning purchase. The Lightning is very practicle when compaired to the SRT/10. The SVT can haul a 1,350lbs load or tow a 5,000lb trailer both the SRT/10 can not and its $12,000 more? The Dodge even offers more horsepower & torque but the truck is just huge! It weights more so its not much faster than the lighter, less powerful Lightning.

  • Ive become a truck man - 2006 Ford F-150

This truck reeks quality. Im impressed with the attention to detail. Looks extra hot with 22" rims. I have the 4x2 SuperCrew Lariat. I recently decided to take a short cut through the canyons (Hwy 74 Ortega Hwy.) This truck handles the curves extremely well. I also took it to Rosarito Mexico; the ride was very nice and I got lot of head turns on the way. I happen to own several vehicles but I seem to have gotten addicted to driving my F150.

Awesome off-road capabilities. Built solid. Ill hand this truck down to my grandson in about 25 years.

  • New 2.7L Lariat - 2016 Ford F-150
    By -

My father recently purchased a 2015 King Ranch with the V8, and shortly after a buddy of mine bought a 15 lariat with the 3.5V6. I went in to a Ford dealer one night here in Denver just to check it out, and ended up leaving with a 2016 lariat 2.7 with the Ecoboost. Could not pass up on zero percent financing with some other pricing options! I love the truck so far. I have just over 3000 miles on it and am averaging 19.3 mpg. I have had one pretty major problem however. The engine was making a very annoying whining sound. I took it in and they actually replaced the entire front differential. They explained that they used a cheap metal at one of the plants? This was obviously very annoying to go through with a brand new truck. However, it sounds amazing after they fixed it and I have had no problems since. The truck is much quicker than you would expect, and the interior is extremely luxurious. I would say this f150 is second to none and well worth your money.
