Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Great Truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By Teresa24j - June 17 - 6:00 amI love the look of the interior and exterior of this truck. It has a lot of room and convenience features. This is make my second F-150 which I still own, and they are really good dependable trucks. It really rides very smooth to be a 4X4. I would definitely purchase another.

The 1992 F150 truck - great investment - 1992 Ford F-150
By gwevans - June 17 - 2:00 amThe F150 experienced several problems (transmission shifting poorly, 4WD wont engage, fuel tank indicator and shift indicator broken) that occurred with the first three years and were all fixed via warranty. The truck has been very reliable. Since the warranty expired, Ive only replaced the alternator & battery. 4WD works great. Brakes are my only complaint - theyve always felt mushy, no matter what Ive done.

Floyd F-150 - 1995 Ford F-150
By Floyd - June 15 - 2:00 amFor an inexpensive vehicle this one has performed well, over 200,000 miles with an inline 6. A/C has never quit, easy to maintain. Manual Tranmission however does not allow for quick accelaration.

Impressed with my F150 - 2004 Ford F-150
By scomo72 - June 14 - 10:00 amI am very happy with my F150 FX4. I was a little concerned with the MPG, but it is better than what I expected at arounnd 15 and that is even with my heavy foot. Also, I recommend the FX4 model if you are looking for a business look. I have received numerous complements from my colleagues, who fully anticipated the interior having a truck look, but when they got in they thought it had a luxury car look to it.

Almost Perfect - 1998 Ford F-150
By Bill A - June 14 - 2:00 amBought this truck new, and now have about 82K miles on it. It Drives, and rides well, and is still tight after all these miles. I have the 4.6 with a 5 speed manual. The transmission needed main bearings at around 70K. This was the only problem Ive ever had with this truck, but it was expensive to fix. Gas mileage averages around 17mpg with a mix of highway and country road driving. There are no rattles, the steering is tight, the brakes are smooth, and the transmission shifts well. The build quality is very good, materials seem of high quality. This truck was screwed together in the Norfolk Va plant which is know for its assembly quality.

My Experience - 2005 Ford F-150
By Larry Lewis - June 12 - 8:46 amI am very happy with not only the comfort, but also with the noise level in the cab. It is quiet. I have the large engine which gives me plenty of power and not too bad of gas mileage. Only thing I wish now I had gotten the leather seats.

By fordcountry - June 11 - 2:00 amIve had rear brake problems since it was new. Since then Ive had the rear- end torn apart 3 times. Also the door cracks ~3inches above mirror. Finally I had a tie-rod break without any prior notice. (sealed socket)

Big Truck - Fun Truck - 1998 Ford F-150
By trace clawson - June 10 - 2:00 amIts a great truck to drive. Very comfortable. Ive got the 4.6 L engine- adequate power but excellent highway mileage 16-20 mpg depending on speed. This baby sits up high. Can be difficult for short people to climb in. The rear bench seat is fine for Children- Adults.. you dont want to be back there for more than an hour at a time. The rear bench seat sits in a very upright position. My only problem: one of the catalytic converters failed at 40000 miles... covered by warranty.

King Ranch Love - 2003 Ford F-150
By kevin7 - June 5 - 10:00 amI recently purchased the F-150 Super Crew King Ranch 4x2 5.4L. The interior of the truck has a Western leather look and feel that is most appealing. With the 5.4L power plant I feel like the King of the road.
