Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Great Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By T Roach - June 29 - 12:23 amThis is a great truck. I can comfortably seat five adults for all but the longest trips. I added chrome step pipes to improve the trucks lines and to make it easier for us shortys to get in. My wife loves driving it too. With the 5.4L, I average about 16 mpg in mixed driving. Best highway performance has been about 18 mpg. However, the comfort, towing and hauling capacity, and reliability offset the slightly lower fuel mileage.

Super Truck - 2001 Ford F-150
By Karpman - June 28 - 10:00 amExcellent truck that meets all of my needs. It has the room to haul my large family and all of our stuff. The interior is extremely comfortable both front and back. I highly recommend the combination of the sunroof and sliding rear window. With both of those open and the side windows up you get a great breeze with little noise. I have 36,000 miles on mine without any mechanical defects. If you need a truck but want the luxury of a Lincoln, this truck is for you!

36K miles and still gets the looks! - 2000 Ford F-150
By FLAVES - June 26 - 2:00 amJust hit the 36K mile mark. I have the Island Blue F-150 and it still turns heads after 2 years. I had a couple of minor problems. The power windows had to be fixed and the rubber above the front windshield did not seem to be glued on properly causing it to flap around the roof and windshield. The Ford dealer was good and fixed the car quickly. Comfort is a plus up front. Fuel economy-BAD. Overall I like my choice. I bought it for the look and the look only, but, as pickup truck owners will tell ya, it was used for far more than that. Great at hauling heavy loads, sheetrock or just AS IMPORTANT, going to the College Alumni Golf outings.

1999 Ford F150 XLT Xtended Cab SB - 1999 Ford F-150
By Barryhandler - June 25 - 2:00 amThis truck so far has been a dream. My very first pickup even though Texas has a lot of pickups. I had always been a GM buyer (Chevy Suburban, Olds, Cadillac--all new cars when purchased). I can see why the F150 is the best selling vehicle -- car or truck in the USA. The XLT has everything standard-- 1. Alarm system 2. Tinted windows 3. Stereo system 4. 40/60 seat with drop down center console I really want a new F150 Crewcab rig but right now Ill wait until times are better (after the Democrats get control of Congress) before I spend the money.

F150 Lariat - 2004 Ford F-150
By tomijock - June 19 - 10:00 amThe truck handles great on highway and on small roads. The only knock that I can find is the gas mileage but thats what to be expected with a big haul of a truck.

Great Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By Shaun Dickey - June 19 - 2:36 amI have allways owned a truck, this is the best truck ever as far as comfort with a very quiet ride. Have taken trips from Michigan to Florida. With a lot of gear, bikes, scuba gear and golf clubs. I tried out the GMC and Dodge Trucks, simular to this Ford, Nothing else compared.

So So...not the greatest - 1995 Ford F-150
By mc64dart - June 19 - 2:00 amNot the best truck I have ever owned, but it is not the worst. It does guzzle gas, but it runs like a top.
