Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • im disapointed - 1998 Ford F-150

i bought this vehicle from my friend who was moving but had bought his truck 6 months earlier. It has bad fuel mileage and I already had to get a new power steering pump and I had to get a newfan belt.It just isnt performing the way a 1998 truck should .I wouldnt recommend this vehicle to anyone that doesnt like sitting on the side of the highway waiting for road side assistance.I just sold the truck and I will never buy another one in my life.

  • Good, solid truck - 1995 Ford F-150

I knew the previous owner. It has always been reliable for him. It also hasnt let me down either. Decent ride, decent mileage. Just a good solid truck overall.

  • Solid Performer - 2000 Ford F-150

Great Truck, it has the 5.4l w/3:55 traction lock 4X4. It never gets a break from towing a 21ft boat in the summer to hunting trips in the fall and winter. Other than a few small problems handled quickly by the dealership, it has been a pleasure to own.

  • Stereo/DVD not worth money should be FREE - 2005 Ford F-150
    By -

Good ride -- not sure on power, typical Ford lurch at slow speed, steering terrible; hit pot hole steering wheel goes crazy, hard to control. Stereo/DVD does not work well; if you do not want to listen to the movie this truck is not for you. Very difficult to get dual zone listening, no directions with DVD, dealer made photocopy; not very professional. Ford sent wrong remote after dealer insisted it was correct, cannot hook up amp on stereo.

  • Beware- Ford drastically changed their front seats - 2016 Ford F-150
    By -

So it was time for a new Ford. This would have been my 4th F150 in so many years. What is the #1 reason I stick with ford trucks? The big comfortable captains chairs that everyone likes. Plenty of long range comfort, etc. So I test drove the new 2016 F150 (Lariat), fully loaded. First impression, the seats were considerably firmer than my 2014. Very stiff. Almost like Ford decided to be more "sporty" instead of comfy. Within 5 minutes my lower back was uncomfortable. Why? because the seat design has built in lumber. Oh its "adjustable" but even at its lowest setting, it has massive lumbar built in. I cant begin to describe my disappointment. Ford took the best thing about their trucks and decided to go sporty. The seats are smaller, and plainly less roomy and well.......big. Way to go Ford. Just lost my business.

  • Good All-Around Truck - 1999 Ford F-150

Purchased used for family vehicle. Towed small fishing boat with no problems. Decent gas mileage for large truck. Very comfortable ride, interior fit and finish very good. Absolutely no mechanical problems, no repairs done in 2 1/2 years other than routine maintenance.

I cant find anything wrong with this truck. My father-in-law claims that it is the Cowboys cadillac!

  • Work Truck - 1990 Ford F-150

Dont think I would buy another one, unless rusting on body and gas mileage has been improved.
