Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Almost passed it by - 2004 Ford F-150
By Dace - November 5 - 2:00 amStarted looking last summer to replace my aging truck and took the 2003 Ford off my list. Glad I revisited the completely overhauled 2004 Model. Outperforms everything else I drove.

Ford Did a Great Job! - 2004 Ford F-150
By Jakpro - November 5 - 2:00 amI am very happy with my new truck. Fords redesign of the F150 is outdtanding! I had a 2001 Expedition and this has more back seat room than it did. I have the bench seat and it is very comfortable. The ride and handling are unbelievable for a truck. It is so quiet that the power of the engine is understated-it is going faster and pulling more than you realize. I looked at a Chevy and the new Nissan Titan and this outs them to shame!

90 Supercab LB - 1990 Ford F-150
By RPR - November 4 - 2:00 amAfter moving to Georgia from Florida in 1993, I had to buy a truck. The vehicle had 30,000 miles on it when I bought it and now has 140,000. In the almost 10 years Ive had the vehicle, I have painted it twice (Maaco). Replace both powerwindow gears, replace the alternator(this year), front brakes 3 times rear one time and thats it. No major mechanical work to engine or trans. Its been a good truck. It was used as a tow vehicle before I bought it and used to tow a car hauler by me.

Im now a Ford guy. - 1998 Ford F-150
By ravenmaniac - November 4 - 2:00 amUp until now I have been a flat out GM man all the way. I desided to take a chance on Ford, since Ive had them as service vehicles for years. When I bought this truck it had 85000 miles, it now has 102000 miles. Even with the high mileage this truck is great. Very tight and sound. No squeaks, rattles, and other annoying noises. Havent had one bit of trouble. I will definately be considering Ford as well as Chevy for my next truck purchase. P.S. I hear a lot of complaining about gas mileage. I have a 4.6L and average about 17mpg highway, which I believe is very good for a pickup.

Old Fashioned Pickup - 1995 Ford F-150
By marky2 - October 31 - 2:00 amI bought mine new in 1995 and it still looks as good today as it did when new. I still get a lot of compliments on it. Strong runner but some things happened to it that I didnt expect: oil pan rusted out (fixed under warranty), rear axle seal leaked, power steering hoses started leaking. Otherwise, its been a great truck and just as comfortable as you could want. (still has the original battery and exhaust system). As one saleman said to me when he looked it over: "its a keeper".

Love the truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By brent - October 29 - 8:13 amI have only had this truck for three months now, and so far, I can say that I am in love with it. The ride is great and the comfort is top notch. The only quirks I have about it are the noise I hear in the steering wheel (like a clicking noise when going around corners). Other than that, great truck.

I never want another car again - 1999 Ford F-150
By bbest - October 28 - 2:00 amAfter driving this truck for the last three years, Ill never go back to a car. The ride is so smooth and in the snow it handles like a dream. I still need to remind myself every now and again that I am driving a full-sized truck, but it is worth it. Even with the 4.6L V-8 I still average almost 20MPG on a comute of almost 45 miles to work each day.

squeeking brakes - 2004 Ford F-150
By greggo - October 26 - 10:00 amMy rear brakes squeek everytime I put them on Ive taken the truck back to the dealership and they tell me there is nothing they can do about it Its the material Ford uses for their brake parts. This noise drives me crazy as nice as the truck is I wouldnt have bought it if I had known about this.
