Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

f150 is great so far - 2004 Ford F-150
By jim f -150 - December 24 - 2:00 amJust picked up the truck a couple of weeks ago and cant say enough about it. The ride quality is right up there with the competition, but the interior is much quieter. Fabric on seats seem to be designed for the long haul and the interior room is terrific. Only complaint so far, other than the dealer, is the gas mileage (not bad, but not great)

"Im king of the ranch!" - 2016 Ford F-150
By Richard Cronkwright Jr - December 22 - 7:50 amMy 2016 Ford F150 Supercrew FX4 King Ranch has all the bells and whistles a man could ask for. The safety features really come in handy, especially the adaptive cruise control on the highway. The massaging and air conditioned seats are very helpful on long drives. The 3.5L EcoBoost engine is not as fuel efficient as one might expect, however, the horsepower and torque curve feel endless. The prices one pays for these trucks(the sticker price on mine was almost $70,000) are high, but that is to be expected when you cross an F150 with a Lincoln.

Great New Truck, Check It Out! - 2004 Ford F-150
By srggator - December 19 - 2:00 amThe new F-150 SuperCrew is fun and roomy. I have 3 children from newborn to 12 they all fit in back with room for diaper bag and more. If you get it with the center council, your wife will love it too; with room for her purse, CDs, the vidio camera, and more. There is storage in the doors, glove box and over head compartments. The 4.6L V8 with Limited-slip rear end give you pleanty of power and control in even the slipperiest of conditions. The ABS brakes and Suspention give it a great controlled stop even in wet conditions. It is a truck than rides like a luxury car, but has the power and versitility to be the truck that it is.

Traffic Blues - 2004 Ford F-150
By Kryptonite - December 19 - 2:00 amThis car like ride, plus perfomance as a benefit, is exactly what I was looking for in a truck. WOW! The ford lightning is the cure for traffic blues. Driving across town in rush hour...no problem, that is if you dont get a ticket. I guess Ill take my chances.

Mediocre - 1994 Ford F-150
By Ted in MT. - December 18 - 2:00 amIf you have lots of time and money, keep it. Four speed overdrive transmission drops down when driving on long trips making the engine red line. Temperamental, many small repairs. Captains chairs too low. Wipers lousy as with all Fords.

Poor way to get a new truck - 2017 Ford F-150
By Stiles - December 13 - 7:50 amI went to sleep and rolled and totaled my 2013 Platinum. That truck handled the wreck so well in keeping me safe, I thought Ford is the way to go. My new Lariat with the 3.5L V6 and 10 speed transmission is not a step down. It is a step up from the 2013. It has everything the Platinum had an much more. I do a lot of freeway driving. The 3.5L V6 and the 10 speed make the entry to the 75 MPH line of traffic easy and safe. Shazam, it is quick. I added a spray-in , a Tonneau top, and power running boards. It is like driving a royal limo. In the initial 1500 miles, the average is 20.8 mpg, up 5 mpg from the 2013 Platinum. I would have a hard time listing all the superlatives that cross my mind about this truck. Quick, quiet, comfortable, well appointed, love the auto high beams, improved rear camera, voice activated navigation, and on and on. When choosing the model on this template, I was not given the option of choosing the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost, but this truck has that engine.

Good Truck.... - 2005 Ford F-150
By Jesus - December 8 - 2:16 amTruck runs pretty good. I got mine used but it runs very well. The only thing is that its too sluggish when it come to accelerating from being stopped when compared to, say the Toyota. After its starts moving it moves. Design-wise its pretty good, thats why I bought it instead of getting the Toyota Tundra which has a plain interior design. The right is really smooth and quiet. I wish that they would of put in an engine with more horsepower to make up for the additional weight.

Overrated - 2015 Ford F-150
By Gary - December 7 - 8:43 pmThe milage ratings are overstated. 19.5 mpg is the best it gets. The lightness of the aluminum body lends to instability, both in the wind and during towing, along with being easier to dent. I was a Ford person for most of my life (owned more than 10) but owned a Dodge and a Honda since my last one. After owning my current F150, I am reminded that poor quality and unreliability is why I switched and todays poor quality is why I shant own another. There are just too many good vehicles made today to put up with Fords petty and persistent failings. At less than 23,000 miles, the speedometer quit working. Cruise control same story. The Dodge had almost 200K miles and the Honda 268K and none of the chicken s#@+ things happened like this Ford has had. Uncomfortable and hard to maintain the cleanliness of the cab (the fabric stains easily) is also annoying. All in all, (as you can see) I am not happy with Ford.)
