Great Truck - 2010 Ford F-150
By SMC - January 18 - 12:56 pmMy 2010 F150 Supercrew FX4 Silver 5.4L. This truck has been a very reliable truck since purchasing it. My truck has 155382 on it and it is on its 3rd set of tires (BF Goodrich TAKO Great Tire) My Truck had 48656 on it when i purchased it with all the maintenance records. No Issues other than normal maintenance. This truck was a CPO with 7 years or 125000 mile warranty. The only maintenance i have had done to my truck is 1. Front Rotors at 115000 only because i let one side of my brake shoe get to low and it damaged one rotor and i went and had both front put on by ford. 365.00. Had a 4X4 ABS Unit ground out at 118000 miles warranty covered it 850.00. Had a Fuel level sensor on the fuel pump to go bad at 121000 miles however it was covered under warranty 980.00. Changed my spark plugs at 124000 no issues, I just wanted to put new ones in. 112.00. I run Penzoil Full Synthetic 5w-20. I change my oil every 5000 miles. I have had to change all of my TPMS on each tire cost 320.00 over the past year and half. Since my warranty has ran out my truck has ran pretty much flawless. I have been looking for a newer or a new truck for over 8 months. Im considering the 2017 Nissan Titan Pro-4X half ton or Ford F150 in either XLT or Lariat FX4 Package. I have had them all Tacoma is a good truck but the tundra is just outdated and the frame is extremely to flexable. I work on mining property and the tundra has a good engine and transmission but the frame is not good. When loaded and going across not level ground you can see the back of the cab get dents and holes punched into by the truck bed where it is flexing to much. You do not see that from a Ford, Dodge, Chevy and even a Nissan Titan. All trucks have there issues however for me Ford has always been good to me in about all aspects of performance, reliability, wear and tear and especially comfort. Ford has probably the best ride of all the trucks in my opinion. Hope this review helps someone make a good decision on a great truck. One more point Ford has been the best selling truck for almost 40 years straight.

Problems - 2000 Ford F-150
By Ken H. - January 16 - 2:00 amI purchased this truck new and started hearing a whine in the rear end at less than 12000 miles. The ford dealer rebuilt the rear end. The whining started again about 20000 miles. Ford has rebuilt the rearend 2 times and replaced it 1 time. The rearend is whining again and I carried it in during warranty and was told that it is normal for this truck. It is now out of warranty and is getting louder and louder. It may be the transmission or something else. I am going to purchase a dodge next week.

Ford Crew cab - 2002 Ford F-150
By Efedrick - January 16 - 2:00 amI spent numerous hours researching Ford, Chev & Dodge. I also drove several models of each brand to assure satisfaction and the comfort desired because I spend a lot of time in my truck. I also travel off the highway quite often.I spoke with employees of pipeline companies around the country because they also spend many hours off the highway. Most of the employees that I spoke to said that only Ford held up to the continual and dependable service reqired to do their job day in and day out. Two companies representives told me that their companies were getting rid of their Chevs.I have been completely happy with my Ford Truck.

F150 XL 6 cylinder (4.2 L) Auto Trans. - 1997 Ford F-150
By Steve 1 - January 14 - 2:00 amOverall the vehicle has been pretty reliable. Although the brakes (disc front/drum back)seem to need replacement more frequently than most, transmission torque converter went out at 65000 miles, this model has sealed front end ball joints and had to be replaced also at about 65000 miles, gas mileage has been about 12 city/ 19 highway. Truck is well maintained with no heavy towing or abuse and regular maintenance. Good low end torque for 6 cyl.

This is Why the FOrd F-150 is the Best Truck. - 2014 Ford F-150
By Warrren Merkle - January 12 - 9:53 amFirst the downside. Too much plastic in the interior. Ford got cheap here. The rest of the truck exceeds your expectations. The best Bluetooth quality, 21.9 MPG on the highway. 18.3 MPG around town. No repair costs. Fit and finish perfect. The only truck to consider, period.

King ranch is tops - 2003 Ford F-150
By leechman - January 6 - 10:00 amLets just say Im a ford person. 1972 f250 4x4 true work horse. 1995 f150 short bed, no big deal. 1997 Lariat supercab, great except for transmission and air noise from third door. But the King ranch has out done anything ford has done before. I have only found a few minor things that I would change. The moon roof should have a auto stop to keep it from going past closed. The 4 wheel select is not in open view while driving. Should be a little more toward the center of dash. And it didnt come with a hat rack on the ceiling. Other than that, this truck is the Cats Meow!!!!!!!!!
